that is true I didn't think of that, I mean he has been hiding that fact but now is getting reassessed. I wonder for how long he will be able to keep it hidden though, so far no one other than him knows about the system 🤔

The moment that machine can’t measure your power you are an S rank, so yeah every S rank can’t be measured, but Jinwoo is different because he can become stronger by leveling up, so at this point in the anime we don’t know how strong compared to the other S rank he is Joining a guild is a problem, they know that he is S rank, but everybody thinks he had a reawakening, joining a guild would expose him everybody would be able to know that he’s able to get stronger after every fight, don’t forget that once you get an awakening it’s impossible to get your powers stronger no matter your efforts

As far as I understand the association is like national oversight institution. They do not clear the gates themselves. Private guilds make more money and are so to speak at the frontlines. The director also thought of him becoming potential successor for his position. Jinwoo has different plans he needs to get stronger to get the Elixir and save his mum.
