My favorite hobbit in anime is Liliruca from the anime, manga and novel series "Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in the Dungeon?" also called DANMACHI. (She will never be called a hobbit on the show though, as the word hobbit is copyrighted by J. R. R. Tolkein, who invented them. So they call the hobbits by a different name in that.) I will watch the rest of this later. Well, it is quite long.

I really enjoyed the extended in the second movie, I will definitely be watching the extended for the 3rd movie too! 🥰 but yea I was thinking of looking for the missing parts and watch those on my own😆

Aye. this movie is something else huh, brings a tear to my eyes. I don't know which of the 3 is my favorite film. I'd say watch the extended version yourself if you like? or would be like a good guess what added from both films? Would be neat little game haha.

Viggo (Aragorn) when offered the role was considering declining the role till his son heard. His son is and avid fan of LOTR and put his father in a headlock telling him he would regret turning down the role for the rest of his life, thus we got our Aragorn.

Galadriel was talking about passing the offer to take the ring. She saw what she could become, but in the end she did not take it. That was her passing of the test. The elfs are angelic like beings that is why they are immortal and presented as beings of light. Orcs are fallen angels and basis of army of evil for that reason. The wizard Saruman in contrast is similar, but he failed the test he got seduced by the Dark Lord, but he also wants the ring for himself. However as Gandlaf said the ring has one master only its creator Dark Lord Sauron. Sauron does not share in his power. This movie is a great adaptation despite the fact there are couple things missing and they made Awren into female fighter, which she is not in the book. She is just in love with Aragon and she is there to become his wife. She is not active.

I'll be 'that TLOTR guy'. Obligatory 2:41:55 Viggo (Aragon actor) deflect the real knife thrown at him. It was suppose to be Aragon dodge it and it stuck to a tree behind him.

The soundtrack of the LOTR films is a thing of beauty. I frequently listen to just the music by itself. Hope you enjoy the other two films in the trilogy.

Yes extended edition is highly recommended. It’s kinda my fault for not saying extended edition in my original movie suggestion comment. But it’s not a huge deal

By the way, noticed you watched the theatrical cut of the film. I highly recommend for you to try to get your hands on the extended versions for the 2nd and 3rd movies. Especially for the third movie some pretty significant scenes were left on the cutting room floor for the theater version.

So glad you enjoyed this and looking forwards to you reacting to the whole trilogy. Not only are they some of the best movies ever, but the original books (LoTR, Hobbit, Silmarillion) by J.R.R Tolkien basically created the fantasy genre as we know it today.
