I think that was Rose's dorm room over at the destroyed Academy at the end, I think he lied because if he told the truth about Alpha to Beatrix he would admit to knowing Shadow Garden blowing his background character identity, he could probably find a way to tell her the truth but i don't think Cid cares that much. π
