you are right about the background fights, I never paid attention to that detail. it's cool thank you for pointing it out I don't know much about animations and budget but yea most anime background fights are 3rd 😆

So many people were stuck on the fact this season had so much talking, most didn't realize it's quality in terms of its animation. ofc the meetings themselves were nothing special, mostly just still frames, but this season easily had the best choreography yet, not to mention the FULLY 2d background knights fighting. Almost every anime i know uses CGI/3D for background knights fighting in a war, in this episode and the next almost all the background characters had mostly unique fight animation in the backgrounds of the up close fights. That's something they didn't have to do, but did it anyways. You don't see that often, BUDGET. Nice little Easter egg right here, but the little goblin girl at 18:59 is actually the girl Shion saved right before her death when Falmuth was invading in S2. Cool to see she's now apart of Tempest's army working for her savior.

oh wow I didn't know that, the reason why I knew was because I watched the OVA first which revealed her identity to me and actually got me confused a bit while watching season 2 😅 Thank you for clarifying this matter to me 💖

It's top secret knowledge that the god Luminus and Demon Lord Valentine are one and the same. There's not many who know. There's also the whole thing last season about Veldora exposing her disguise, so probably not even all demon lords knew about it. Hinata knows about it, but the order she commands has never even met Luminus.
