I'm unsure if you recognized it during or after this episode, given you watch so many episodes at once... But something I noticed here is the teacher helping Ryuko has Kisuke's VA and the Elite 4 calling the tennis match has Ikaku's VA. This came out in 2013 and Bleach's original run ended in 2012. Great hires for some more prominent roles at the time.
