Awesome react! They needed the blood of everyone that stole a coin from the treasure aside from returning them to lift the curse, but since they threw Turner father to the bottom of the ocean before realising that, they were stuck: everyone else put their drops of blood but it needed to be all and Turner was missing. That's why at the end Jack put his blood with the coin since he was now part of the curse as well
