The whole kiss situation is pretty ridiculous with how they stretched it out and ultimately didn't. Usually I hate it, but it's pretty early in the story and I thought the execution was great. Basically the 4 things they did were: 1. End episode with about to kiss moment. 2. Start next episode from there, break it off and continue it in a different way. But cut to opening before they kiss. 3. After the intro you see them inching closer and it's drawn out with a flashback scene. 4. Just before it happens the girl decides no, but the brother doesn't notice it because he decided to interrupt it and was pretty blind to what was happening (they were probably already making out for minutes in his mind). Honestly I almost always hate it when they do stuff like that, especially with the intentional extreme delay. But for this it works, I think.
