haha yea I can totally see that rules are absolute for her π I see as long as it is legal and within the laws she will do it no matter how evil it's looking. the thing is, whenever she has that evil smile she looks like she is committing a crime lol so it just makes me so conflicted about her π Thank you for the explanation π₯°

It is normal to be confused about her character. Tanya can both act like the most vile individual and a very respectable person. She does care for some of her subordinates but she obviously has a fucked up way of doing it. The thing to keep in mind is that rules and laws are pretty much absolute to Tanya. She isn't evil by motivation, but she will do anything she can within the confines of those rules to achieve her goals. Think of her more as a fucked up lawyer leading soldiers. Her sense of ethics is based on what is legally defined, so if doing something that seems evil as heck was the most efficient way of achieving an objective, she would do it if she could find a loop hole to not make it a war crime, otherwise she wouldn't.
