as another comment already said that the daughter is literally a Mary Sue, as far as i remember she got 3 different blessings (Tanya got not a single blessing, she got an artifact). The gods (yes plural, in the anime we only know of being x, but there are way more gods and being x is just the only one who got involved with tanya) sometimes give blessings to humans when they pray for something and at that time Mary got (by chance) 3 different blessings for 3 different prayers. i dont remember the exact details so i can only say that one prayer was from Mary, the others two were from her parents

Even from a logical perspective letting the army simply retreat was never going to work. All soldiers are people and if they are forced out then they lose their homes their families and everything they had of course they will try to come back for it. Tanya understands that part well but she doesn't understand the other side because her way would amount to whole sale slaughter of everyone that is not on her side so Tanyas plan never would have worked either. She is equally incapable of using this victory but she never understands this part because she lacks all empathy.
