Well damn it... was this all a trap... fudge nuggets... Also, this is the only spoiler I had of this anime, him killing the girl. Like damn that's cold, yet I didn't feel nothing but hate for what this group did.

Makoto's sense of morality being slightly off as well as his lack of attachments for most things in the world is a recurring theme in the story, and a part of what makes the character interesting in my opinion.
