Hereβs this weekβs update! There are a lot of exciting and appealing news to share! Letβs dive in ππ₯³
Treasure Island:
GAS (Gameplay Ability System) implemented => Example Video
That was a major junk of work to improve just everything playable Character related. I mentioned it in the previous update, but now you we have some footage. It is mainly about dynamically loading features the Character has. So if you look at the top left, you can see that the swimming component is only activated within a certain radius of Water. So that means the load of the logic behind it is really only activated when you can swim. That optimized a lot. And that loading/unloading abilities works for everything. Inventory, Swimming, Vehicles, Weapons, etc. etc. Very powerful!We will have a big update Meeting with the whole Team on Monday to discuss the final Milestones and the feature-complete Release of Chapter 1 (also on Steam and Affect3D). I am very curious myself about the result.
There is a new Test-Build planned for next week Friday! Hopefully already with saving & loading. Fingers crossed π€
I was asked already a couple of times about more environments and character customization. Yes, we will have more environments and also character customization similar to PoseViewer. But only AFTER the upgrade to Unreal 5.5 because there is a great customization plugin and the coders told me that itΒ΄s definitely worth waiting. So of course I listen to them π

Episode 10 & 11:
We finalized the Script for both Episodes! They will be roughly 15min each, featuring 5 Poses each and happen on our lovely Island
Release of EP10 before Summer Holidays
Release of EP11 definitely also in 2025
I will start with the Production probably at the end of February

So excited for Episodes 10 and 11! It's been over a year since Episode 9 and while the game development has been exciting, it was ultimately the episodes that made me subscribe as a Patreon, so I'm glad to see there's not one but two in store for us this year!
