Flea shakes his head. “No, when I say rotten—it fell out in the vet’s hand while she was digging around in there.”

“Nah, she’s fine now,” Flea says with a grin. “Sucked up two cans of cat food as soon as we got back, so I’d say our girl’s back in business.”
