There is no mocap or facial capture at any level in these animations. But not even any reference was used. In fact, if a few things move well and are in good sync with each other, it can pretty much fool the human eye. Added to that is the dynamic simulation of hair and jewelry and that’s where that effect comes from. Classic keyframe animation on multiple animation layers, some at quite high frequencies.
