The Child job was a job that was deemed necessary in a world that no longer had Mother’s give birth the old fashioned way. After years of there being no “babies” in a world where new clones were created at the age of 6, it was eventually deemed necessary for a new job to be created to appease those missing old fashioned parenthood.
After much debate the ‘Child’ job was chosen as a suitable substitute for actual infants. 3 young people would be selected from every district to serve as ‘Children’ for the community. A way to appease taxpayers, government officials, and everyone else who wanted some type of job to look at when their maternal and paternal instincts yearned to care for something.
The 3 “lucky” candidates would be permanently altered to play an important role in their community. Or at least that’s what they were told.
Their physical bodies were weakened to make them more helpless and in need of care and assistance, while chips were inserted into their brains to change them mentally in specific ways to make them emotionally act more childlike, but would also put their physically sexual states into an extremely vulnerable position.
Like every job the ‘Child’ job were given to candidates totally at random and in the particular case of Alice it just happened to be serious bad luck that the valedictorian was the one who got that Selection this year. Or was it..?

There was no telling how much time had passed as Alice gently opened her eyes. Never having undergone any sort of surgery in her whole life, she didn’t know what to think. She was still in the small silver room, but she was totally alone, and she felt... different. Unbeknownst to her, many mental, physical, and biological changed had been made to Alice. As she sat up on the table she found that for some reason it took all of her energy to do so. She could barely move, or at least it took almost all of her effort to do so.
She was naked as she lay there and the first thing she discovered was her new breasts. Her beautiful, almost D-cup boobs that she had been so proud of for so long... were now barely B-cups, maybe even A-cups. In between her legs she had always kept a beautifully trimmed and neat bush, and now... she was as bald as she was when she was a child.
She looked around the room as much as her weak body would allow her to until she came face to face with a mirror on the far wall. She was equally amazed and horrified at what she saw. They had changed her. More than just her private parts and her breasts, but... all of her looked different. She looked... adorable! Smooth and perfect. Every tiny blemish, or mole, or imperfection anywhere on her was gone completely. She was perfectly smooth. Her eyes appeared bigger and her eyelashes were long while her teeth were bright white and her cheeks were just a tiny bit chubbier and redder. She looked at her new form in awe, unable to look away. She was still quite... sexy, if she could say so herself. But it was as if someone had taken who she was – Alice; and fused her with a baby doll. With the technology they had, the doctors were able to turn her into a beautiful and perfect cutsie version of herself. It almost reminded her of those Chibi cartoons her brother was always so obsessed with; which was not a way she ever wanted to have to describe herself as.
“H... hewwo?? Hewwo is anybody hewre?!” Alice called out, shocked once again at the way her voice sounded. Just like how her body looked, her voice sounded almost like her, but not quite right. It sounded like her, but more like it did when she was 5 years old. Too high pitched and much too cutsie. “He...hewwo? No not... hewwo. I’m twying to say... HEWWO!!” She couldn’t believe it. She now had a lisp that she couldn’t control! She had heard of adults who got selected for the Child job to have their voices modified, but she never realized how severe it would be.
Unaware of how much mental control they had taken away from her along with her physical attributes, Alice herself was surprised when the situation immediately overwhelmed her and she began full on bawling. Crying is something she normally would never ever resort to when she was faced with a problem... but she was no longer normal Alice. Alice cried and cried like she had never cried before, trapped in the knowledge that this was only the beginning of her new life.
It was at that moment... the single door in the back of the room swung open...
