Being True to Yourself - Part 2
🕑 Added 2023-05-31 23:00:01 +0000 UTCMandy really wasn’t sure about what to say about the beautiful girl she’d come to admire standing in front of her wearing nothing but red lingerie and a full sized white adult diaper.
“I know I know it’s kinda weird. But I’ve needed them for a couple years and I honestly didn’t feel like I needed to hide it from you. Let’s just have a laugh about it and move on.” Jordan smiled at her, keeping her hands on her hips as she struck a few poses from their dance class, letting Mandy get a good view of her diaper from every possible angle she could.
Mandy couldn’t believe it. The girl she’d befriended who was overwhelmingly confident and beautiful and never endingly interesting had to wear diapers! And she barely seemed to care! If Mandy herself had to wear diapers she didn’t think she’d even have the confidence to leave her house, much less go on a date or be half as confident as Jordan always was.
“You even wear them during dance class?” Mandy inquired.
“Yeah, most of the time at least. Why’d you think I always wear my shorts along with long poofy skirts? You get used to it.”
Regardless of her initial shock, Jordan clearly wasn’t allowing her disability to falter her confidence for even a moment. As she drew towards Mandy on her bed, she walked with the grace and poise as any lingerie model on a runway. As the two girls began to makeout and get down to business, Mandy found herself actually more impressed and admirable of her friend than ever before!

As another week or two went by, Mandy found herself unable to get what Jordan had shared with her out of her mind. She’d always thought of herself as so small and simple and shy, and because she thought that way that was how she acted.
On the other hand, Jordan had a secret, a secret that most people would be horribly embarrassed over and desperately hide from everyone. But even with that she was the most confident person Mandy had ever met and owned that part of herself and even used it to make herself even more true to who she was. This fascinated Mandy.
She talked with Jordan several more times on the topic and learned more of the truth. Jordan admitted that she hadn’t always been as confident as she was and when she’d started having accidents during high school, it took a bit of a toll on her. Having never been a person to stay down for long though, she’d realize it was something she didn’t have control over. So she wore diapers to deal with it, and took more control on every other aspect of her life. Making sure she lived her days to the fullest. Hence, where she was now.
“To me,” Jordan explained to her at the café one day. “The diapers, while obviously a little embarrassing yes, kinda gave me a... a shield, for lack of a better word. It kinda made me laugh at myself and be like... yeah so what. So I gotta wear these. If I’m wearing fricking diapers already than what else can life throw at me? What do I have to be scared of? I might as well just go all out and be me.”
For days Mandy couldn’t get her friends’ words out of her head. They were inspiring to her. Not much later... she came up with a crazy idea. It seemed ridiculous, but at the same time... kinda seemed exciting.
“I wanna try one.” She said, walking up to Jordan one day in class.
“Huh?” The girl replied as she stretched her legs.
“I wanna try one of your... diapers.” She whispered the last word, even as saying that sentence threatened to bring a deep redness to her cheeks.
“How come?”
“Well... I think they could help me. I don’t really know how to explain, but I would like to try one. Please?”
Jordan smiled at her and told her to come home with her after class that day, which Mandy agreed to. Back at Jordan’s beautiful apartment Jordan came out with one of the large white diapers.
As Mandy ran her fingers over the crinkly white surface of the large garment she almost had to remind herself why she was doing this. As she opened the garment up, she took a short but deep breath and decided she was going to use the diaper the same way that Jordan did. She would use it as a way to laugh at herself a little and have fun. She would look at herself in the mirror and realize that she was still beautiful no matter what circumstances life would give her.
She unfolded the thing, and with a bit of Jordan’s help, was able to get it on completely. The bulk of the thing made her unable to put her legs fully back together, but as Jordan smiled at her she proclaimed, “You look perfect. But I think we can do even better.” Her pretty blonde friend smiled as she held up one of her own sets of lingerie. A bold black set. “Let’s see you try this on honey.”
