2024 "Resume"
🕑 Added 2024-12-28 19:02:31 +0000 UTCI decided to leave a post about why this year has been so difficult not only for me, but for the entirety of "Studio Alorth".
Calling this year just bad, would be an understatement, it was more like a nightmare.
Our manga drawing artist. Mr.woods has disappeared. He lives in Venezuela and presumably in a zone were things like "war" and public dissatisfaction isn't uncommon. It's been almost a year now and we have to assume the worst case and conclude that he passed away.
Our artwork drawing artist, Mr.takealook, lives in North Korea and he told me in advance, that he was under police investigation and that he would need to go silent for some time.
We're presuming that he has been arrested, since his work had legal issues in his country.
One of my staff that helped a lot with rendering, had some kind of breakdown because of personal issues, affecting his mental stability. It's been difficult to cooperate with him after it and therefore our production speed dropped.
One of my co-developer projects is dropping in income because of the lack of updates, due to the lack of someones responsibility, lack of motivation, health issues or I don't know what it is.
There has been a lot of difficulties with "publicity", this could be said, is due to the lack of consideration of certain people that leak my games in a bad way.
So we're in a really bad spot right now, not only due to lack of staff to continue certain plans, but also financially.
I'm barely hanging on right now since i live in a expensive country and there is no way for me to change that at moment.
I will soon be forced to probably make a decision... either finding a job to temporarily sustain my work or release a new game that is more marketable. Doing so while not affecting my current projects of course, which isn't exactly easy.

Good day Alorth. Hope things are going better for you and the studio team. Just wanted to show my support and ask if Radiant and Neko Paradise are getting back on track in their places on the schedule, or if we should expect a little delay while the team catch up after the crummy 2024 year? I have enjoyed both games so far. I am sure there are many ohters with the same questions and I know you and your team are working on more than just a few updates and have new games on the docket. Keep standing strong! We, your fans, will do what we can.

Hello Alorth, I just finally was able to join your Patreon but only as a first tier member due to certain limitations I have. It is a harsh environment for all AVN Developers in today's world but the one thing no one can deny is REAL Life issues like health (physical as well as mental), Living situations that can include bad weather, natural disasters as well as manual disasters, equipment failures, and of course the most troublesome of issues. Legal. These can be so much worse for some than others when your team members are spread out all over the world. Many living in countries who have strick laws against what is considered porn as well as the more prevailant subjects like loli and incest. I feel for you! I really like Neko Paradise and would really like to see it continue.. Is the game available on any site where I can buy/download the latest version (0.21)? I will watch for future postings. Keep your spirit and creativity up! You have fans out here even if some of us cannot afford much towards supporting you. Best to you and good luck on the missing team members. Hope Mr. Woods is safe and away from the unrest and only gone quiet to avoid issues. I hate to think about what your Mr.takealook may be going through. NK is not a kind place for anyone who thinks "individualistic".

I hope that those to did not meet a bad end, but sorry for their loss if so. I think I understand the other project falling behind and that that person fault not urs. Went back to school myself to enter another work environment bc shit expensive now and inflation bucks. I hope the best for you guys moving forward.
