(Edit: Now with full-rez files attached)
In honor of the month of May - hopefully everyone is done with their finals by now. Lyrics by Amanda Schiano di Cola - each verse (except the first and last) was meant to represent a different subject she was studying for. Can you guess what they are?
Recording:
Track 1 - Midi Drums, Midi piano, bass
Track 2 - 12-string guitar
Tracks 3-4 - vocals
Lyrics:
Take out your pencils
Take out your paper
Take out your books
And do it all later
You have your pop rocks and coke
That make up common law
Stop working now
And realize the flaws
One million words
Two million questions
Left them all over there
Next to some foreign legion
Staccatos and marcatos
When it’s sharp pull out
When it’s flat push in
I’m back where I started and I don’t know how
There are inequalities
And less than or equal to’s
The answer is three fourths
But it’s point seventy five too
One million words
Two million questions
Left them all over there
Next to some foreign legion
Ego sum laetus
Ego sum pulchra
Please don’t necat me
Or I will be an umbra
Capitalize correctly
Says some evil vampire
Six ways to use a comma?
She is such a liar
One million words
Two million questions
Left them all over there
Next to some foreign legion
Finally we have circuits
Electricity and matter and motion
Four different people
Telling us different notions
Exams, exams
What a wonderful joy
To study these subjects
Instead of playing with toys
