Lyrics by Amanda Schiano di Cola, who said of it in high school: [the title means] 'safety barrier from the bad things'...if you always think the worse, then when something good happens you'll think it's really good and if the worst happens you'll just be satisfied with knowing it was going to come."
Recording:
Track 1: MIDI drums & bass
2-3: Guitar
4: Vocals
Lyrics:
It’s just a sad joke now
A sad realization of a sad situation
It’s just a sad comment
A sad compilation of sad regrets
It’s building a home in my mind
It’s building it deep so I won’t find it
It’s building it so I won’t realize
It’s building it so I won’t be in pain
It’s just a low remark
A low addition to a low and lonely house
It’s just a low note
A low smudge to our low composition
It’s building a home in my heart
It’s building it deep so I won’t rip apart it
It’s building it so I won’t cry
It’s building it so I won’t give up
It’s just a sad joke now
A sad realization of a sad situation
It’s just a sad comment
A sad compilation of sad regrets
