"Ah, my most precious treasure, how much it cost me to get you... You have no idea how many greedy hands are out there, trying to snatch you from me… especially that pompous idiot, the so-called Prince Charming, always riding his horse—even to take a dump—and thinking he's better than me."
(He laughs while holding the padlock between his fingers and showing it to the princess.)
"But don’t worry, my treasure. Soon, you’ll be safe, where no thief, no vain fool who only knows how to swing a sword and stare at his own reflection, will ever find you. Right here, inside this very special little chest I’ve prepared just for you."
(He watches as she struggles in vain against the sharp teeth of the mimic chest, while it playfully tickles her helpless soles with its appendages.)
"Yes… you’ll be well kept here… and you’ll have plenty of time—and incentives, many incentives—to reconsider the marriage proposal you rejected as if it were a snot-covered handkerchief... MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Prince… and future king Gnarl. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it, Princess Rose?"
