Yea, the plot kinda seems like a secondhand thought, might be remnants from when Shigeno finished Initial D, as Stage 4-6 really didn't have too much character growth lol. Either way, the actual race was fire, so I'll let them cook a bit if they can keep the race intensity up lol.
