The manga writer, in my opinion, hit his stride with the side plots in the manga around here. There's a couple reasons (no spoilers) that I think you'll like the inter-race plot developments between Race 2 and Race 3. If I'm wrong though, come back and put me on blast! :D

Lets go, they honestly did their thing with this race. At this point I'm satisfied with second race. But fingers crossed for it to be two more episodes because that side plot be putting me to SLEEP

I think we have at least one full more episode of race. They skipped a bunch of stuff in Chapters 84 and 85 to get to the material in 86. Race ends at Chapter 91. If they repurpose that stuff for Episode 7, we might get two more episodes of racing. But either way, the race is gonna pop off till the very end!
