So even though nothing happened this episode, I didn't mind it at all. It's actually funny, seeing the gang after so many years really made my day. I actually really relate to Itsutsi's situation, in that when I started watching Initial D back in 2003, I was only 19 years old and 130 lbs at most. Fast forward to today, I'm married with two kids and at about 220 lbs, so I completely understand Itsuki 😆. But that kinda made the scene feel like I was seeing old friends for the first time in years (which, thinking about it now, it's been like 10 years since I watched Final Stage when it came out), and seeing them again and catching up with them put a smile on my face, like I'm happy that they're still friends and still seeing each other often. Just good vibes with the old gang 🙂...

So, 885 is pretty funny. It means "Hayai", which translates to "fast". I said last week that this was going to be a dry episode, and it was, but we're going to heat up for the next three to end the season! And the post-race plot after Race 3 is actually good.

As someone who heard stuff from the manga, your main complaint last episode about the side plot was "There is no problems at all".
