[2020/11/8] Trying to modify the middle/deep background...
🕑 Added 2020-11-08 15:46:58 +0000 UTCI am trying to modify
crypts.corridor_mid.png
with
crypts.corridor_bg.png
The middle/deep background of these two dungeons,
But actually it feels more troublesome than expected...
It needs to be monochromatic, with proper proportions, and not too attractive
Then there must be enough picture information and certain pornographic elements...
At the same time, these two pictures themselves have high repeatability,
Unlike a normal background, the serial number can be increased indefinitely,
There is only one middle and bottom composition
If I drew a very personal composition,
Then the player may see the same screen multiple times in a game,
Produce a certain sense of weirdness
(The content of the original design is featureless ruins and colonnades,
Will not produce such results
I have tried to draw a few editions these days, but none of them feel suitable.
So there is no picture in this post today (it's a pity
After rethinking for a while, I decided to use torture.
Imprisonment is the main element to design the modification of these two diagrams
initial plan:
Deep background:
Normal Edition: Broken, hanging cloth and flags
Dark version: some bones are hung with hooks, and some swords and guns are inserted on the pillars on the ground
Curious version: suspended, truncated female body
Middle background:
Normal version A: Many hanging hooks and empty hanging iron cages. Some iron cages have thorns, which may be matched with some brazier lighting (refer to the torture room in this scene)
Normal Edition B: Some hanging hooks and hanging upside down by tights...people, or corpses? (Similar to the undead village of the dark soul, and the tight restraint of the madman in DD) Then match the lighting of the wind lantern...
(Whether the lighting effect of the brazier and the wind lantern is suitable for this picture has to be actually painted and then see the effect)
Dark version: some bones are hung with hooks, there are some torture instruments on the ground, and there may be brazier lighting
Bad version: the shadows of female nudes that are more regular and symmetrical, bound by iron chains, surrounded by...well...maybe it's also iron cages or something, or hanging upside down...take the normal version of the elements and make them too In two editions...
Curious version: Well, maybe something more scary, with broken limbs, half of the body hanging?
Although some people also suggested that I use cults, sacrifices and other elements...
But I feel that I can’t find a suitable reference element for a while
(Now these designs mainly refer to Dark Sacrifice and Dark Soul
If you have any reference pictures or ideas that feel suitable, you can leave a message to tell me!
After finishing these two pictures, I am considering whether to organize the ruins and send out a mod first. It seems that the mod has not been released for a long time...
crypts.corridor_mid.png
和
crypts.corridor_bg.png
