[2020/11/23]Try a new way of coloring
🕑 Added 2020-11-23 15:59:41 +0000 UTCIt feels like I have adapted to the somewhat cold weather now!
All kinds of strange physical problems don’t appear again
Now I can have more energy to conduct various research...
hummm
So these days I have studied various 3D software to assist painting...
Learning new software is a bit difficult, but the rewards are pretty good!
For example, using the basic model to pose similar to the picture,
Then use blender to render-it can easily calculate beautiful light and shadow!
I will color and piece together according to the result...

feel good!
With the help of this new design, I should be able to make the color of the picture more beautiful
It also makes my coloring easier
(The previous coloring method should also consider light and dark, shadow...
And it's all my own brain power!
That can easily cause me fatigue, so I always make slow progress when drawing complex vertical drawings...
With this, I can give this part of thinking to the program to calculate
Today’s technological advancements have also enabled more advanced rendering to be done by home computers...
The technology itself is not too new... the rendering principle of game lighting is applied to painting
But I have only recently mastered it more proficiently!
(I have done some experiments before
Although it seems that this test product cannot be used directly in the game,
But I will soon be able to use these techniques to refurbish old town characters,
And accelerate the creation of the next fine painting
Although the villains and objects in the original style form the basis of the game,
But paintings that are more complex and larger can give me more sense of accomplishment!
I can also make them into wallpapers, or use them in more places...
Although, the structure of DD itself can not accommodate too many fine paintings...
So my main creative direction should still be the modification of various backgrounds/characters/monsters
but……
Cooperate with https://www.nexusmods.com/darkestdungeon/mods/1084
This interesting mod that adds a new random loading screen
Maybe I can consider some similar reading screen creation...
Of course, the town characters will also find opportunities to continue to complete!
Well, I hope someone can create more interesting system mods...
hummm
