Harry stood as well, brushing crumbs off his trousers. “I’ll come with you. I’ve got some business to take care of.”
Angelina and Alicia stood, gathering their things. “We’ll head back to Hogwarts,” Angelina said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. “Got to finish that Transfiguration essay before McGonagall has our heads.”
Alicia nodded, looping her arm through Angelina’s. “Yeah, and I need to catch up on some sleep. Someone kept me up half the night.” She shot George a pointed look, and he grinned unapologetically.
Katie leaned in, kissing Harry, her lips lingering just long enough to make him smile. “See you later.”
Rosie walked over as they got ready to leave. “You lot behave yourselves at Gringotts. And Harry,” she added with a wink, “you know where to find me.”
Harry chuckled. “Noted.”
Fred glanced at Harry as they stood in front of the fireplace. “Seriously, mate, you’ve changed our lives. Don’t hex me, but we’re grateful.”
George nodded. “Yeah, we’re not just pranking kids anymore. This is real.”
Harry sighed, but his smile was warm. “You two are going to do great things. Just don’t blow up Gringotts.”
Fred grinned as he stepped inside the fireplace, reaching out to take a handful of floo powder. “No promises.”
Harry chuckled as the fireplace flared green, and he turned to see Rosie working behind the bar. Last night was something else, and a part of him still couldn’t believe what his life had become now.
Shaking his head with a smile, he grabbed a handful of floo powder and stepped into the fireplace. He had a little business he needed to take care of, and a certain beauty to meet.
“Leaky Cauldron,” he called out clearly as he threw the powder down, his vision filled with blue and pink and golden hair and a teasing smirk that was immediately replaced by an explosion of emerald flames.
After all, he’d made a promise to her, and as he’d told himself multiple times before, she was bloody hot.
