Porsche Joest 936C, Lola T610, Ford C100 1982 Group C for Assett Corsa #1
🕑 Added 2021-01-16 07:00:42 +0000 UTCHi, mates. I'm glad to announce new series of conversions for Assetto Corsa - Group C ! Mainly will be beginning of "C" era, including racing cars some people don't know.
Porsche and Ford were first to join Group C regulations. It was Ford C100 (presented in this pack) and Porsche 956 (will be publiched later). Today we have chance to experience Porsche 936C! In an attempt to conform to the new Group C regulations, Joest racing built new bodyshapes that incorporated a roof onto their 936-replicas Joest's car was designated as 936C JR005.
Third car in pack is 1982 LM Lola T610 powered by Ford Cosworth DFL V8 3955 cc N/A (same as Ford C100). Same as Ford - is not very successfull car, but pretty one!
About competitiveness of the mod. Cars have + - competitive characteristics. Compare to late Group C (Porsche 962, Mazda 787B) they have a bit less power. On the other aspects, unfortunately none of us drove thiese cars in real life, but i liked the result. What about you?
More cars are coming later!
Have fun! ^_^

Hello mate. later will make 1982 #4 skin, thank you, mentioned this !
Thank you great contents. Although I hope a skin of 936C, LM1982 Belga No.4. Now I'm covered by same colored LM1983 No.15 skin for reproducing LM1982. At result I enjoy it with over 30 cars!!

The Rfactor mod. Virtual le mans add on i think.
Tony Barracuda
Hi mate. What mod exactly are you talking about ?
kenny moss
Hi tony. do you have access to all the GTPC mods. I have been looking for a list as it looks like there is 58 cars from 1970 to 1985 or 90s. There could be quite a lot of cars in there that are not in AC that would be awesome to have. What do you think.
Tony Barracuda
i thhink yes, when make bigger pack to understand what cars do we have overall. Not its only power and downforce individualized

Thanks for the conversion. Do you plan to individualize the cars a bit more physicswise?
kenny moss
The newer pay mods ,VCR BYCOLIN , RSS LAMBO, Some Kunos cars vas well. A few people are also posting on gt planet configs for wipers. It seams to be to do with the glass material used but i guess all yours will be the same. hope this helps
Tony Barracuda
Hi mate, will learn and fix it with next update for these cars. Do you know car as example of it ? I dont use rain in races die to AC is bad in wet physics, so not very familiar with rain settings
kenny moss
hi. The rain wont clear when the wipers are working. there has to be a wiper trace ini in the data file.
Tony Barracuda
its extremely rare cars. If its possible to find 3d model of them, its possible to convert. Now im doing group c which models we have =)

Is there a chance we'll see the Kremor 917 Group C car from 1981 here or some of the other super obscure ones like the Lamborghini Countach GTP?

Hello, mate. Thank you for feedback. For now wipes are working and its visible rain drops on front and side glasses. Or what do you mean ?
kenny moss
I dont know if this is possible but can you add Rain wiping to the windscreen in data file. Maybe when you have finished the pack it could be put in a Le Mans 1980s file so all cars show up together in game. Really looking forward to the Lancia. i Like open top Prototypes. Many thanks.

Hi mate, what do you think about it? Releasing new cars, probably it will be some minor fixes of already released ones. Especially it's about power and characteristics. To have good drive with Ai
