Synth project cum simulation update [00:43]

I let this simulation run while I was at Eurofurence (I had a great time).
This scenes liquid simulation took almost 400 hours to complete
(the mamagen one was something around 150 hours)
I'm likely going to add some extra perspectives in a "picture-in-picture" manner, since there is a bit of empty space on the left side of the video near the end.
This render is still at a lower sample rate and in 720p, but this scene alone took already 7 hours to render.
I am currently refining last bits of scripts for the VA and making more progress on the sounds.
(adding 94468 plap and squelch sound in different variation that sync to the video is really fun /s)
Also this scene has become so slow and complex due to the liquid simulation cache that Blender crashes instantly whenever I have textures loaded and click on anything
But it somehow still renders everything
And then crashes afterwards
Anyways, hope ya like the mess so far

Oh no, it’s not like that. You didn’t have to explain yourself. I just wanna make sure there wasn’t something broken on my end. But I appreciate the explanation one way or the other.

Thanks! I'm still working on the sound and script for the VA across the ~12-minute project. Highly detailed liquid simulations are always time-consuming in Blender. I wasn’t home for about a week, so I just let the simulation run while I was away. I'll definitely use both Synth models again, though I don't really consider that 'recycling' them. After this big project is finished, I’ll absolutely focus on shorter loops with a variety of different characters.

Looks amazing. Was there sound? A crazy on the proportional work to outcome there’s gotta be a better and easier quicker way. Will you recycle certain models and characters and future to cut down on the hours?
