Plans for the future of Single Again.
🕑 Added 2024-04-01 07:50:18 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
I thought I'd give a little update on the plans for the near future of the game, namely the models used.
I use Daz3d to make the images for the game and when I started Gen 3 was the current model. Shortly after, Daz released Gen 8 as the new model (4,5,6, and 7 were used for specific characters instead of generations of models for some reason). I waited for a while for content to come out for the new generation before I remade the characters into Gen 8.
It's now been a over a year since Daz came out with Gen 9 and a there is now a plethora of content out for it. So, I think now is the time to make the switch of all the characters to Gen 9.
But not just change the models to the new Gen, but update them and give them a more contemporary look.
First off we have the new Abby:
You'll notice she's a slightly taller now, with longer hair. Her bust size has been increased to be a little bit less than average and her butt size has been decreased to a more reasonable size.
Next up, Lilly:
Her height has also been slightly increased, but she is still a little short than Abby. She now has green eye shadow and black lipstick to go along with her new hair style. Her bust size has also been increased to slightly less than average, but still smaller than Abby's. You'll also notice she has some tattoo's now. More will be added as the story progresses.
Now, Becca:
Now the first thing you'll notice with Becca is her butt is %10 bigger. She also has her long hair back. You may not have noticed this but her bust size has been slightly increased as well.
And finally, Mei:
No changes, she's perfect.
Now, these new models will be making their debut in the second half of 1.24 and I know what you're thinking. Even though I did my best to keep them looking as similar as possible to their old models, some people might notice the difference between them. Well, that will be explained in the story. Beth will be paying for the girls to all get plastic surgery (And for Lilly's tattoos)
I'll be making another post in a few days showing off the new models for Beth, Vanessa and Madison.
Hope you guys like them. That's all for now, happy April 1st. ;)

Despite this being only a joke. Upgrading to Gen9 is actually not a bad idea, as long as the characters stay recognizable. Especially Abby, I don't care about the rest of them too much :)

Nice April Fools joke! All girls are on steroid it seems and have grown out of this world boobs...... Not something I am fond of to be honest. So please keep the old girls as each of them is perfect as they are - not only Mei ;-)
Ron
I may lose interest if these changes actually happen. Really hope this update is just an April Fools joke
Blacklabyrinth
*notices date, hangs pitchfork back on wall and casually douses torch* Good one ;)

good thing this isn't real, I'd have to quit playing!!! The girls are perfect just as they are!!

You are a bastard!! I went into full on panic mode, muttering "Why? Why? WTF NO!!!" You got me good, but I don't think my heart enjoyed the strain 8-) I love your work and I love the current models! Thank you 8-)

I love how they got more and more unbelievable with each one. Abby looked good, Lilly was eh, then I saw Becca’s planet-sized melons and was like nah this has to be a joke. Happy April 1st!

If I didn't know what day was I would be depressed.

I was getting ready to say please don’t change the models they’re perfect how that are and it would ruins the game for me. Then I realized it’s April 1st jokes on me.

Truth! We may secretly hope to BE said husbando, but support her happiness as a good friend ought.
Anthony Docimo
wellll, technically we *do* want something to happen to Mei: we want her to be even happier and to get the husbando she always wanted. (but yes, i understand what you mean)
Mr C
Wouldn’t mind the Abby change TBH. It didn’t come to me till I got down to Becca’s implants that it’s April 1 haha.

Also, when do we meet the Ogawa twins in-game?

I'm really glad I'm dead tired 'cause I'm up too late so ALL of these posts are getting me ...

This is the way. Mei is awesome, and if anything happened to her I would murder the world. ;-) (maybe)

Nice try, but I know what date is today 😂 Also I don’t mind Abby’s or Lilly’s new look but Becca looks ridiculous. No offence.

You're too much. This is hilarious!

(ﾟーﾟ*) had me sweating for a sec there before i remembered the date. You got me good.
Poke-Ladd
Feels like an anime time skip either everyone gets long hair for one episode or bigger tits until they change the art design
Anthony Docimo
sometimes causality applies, and sometimes coincidence.
Anthony Docimo
now i feel guilty for not noticing a difference in Jaye's butt either.
Selek
Read post and noticed today's date.

There isn't one, it's a reference to Jaye from chasing sunsets. They took away %10 of her butt.
Anthony Docimo
very nice work; kudos. >No changes, she's perfect. Thats never a joke - always true. Thank you. Also, I couldn't really see a difference in the asses of the two Beccas.
Daniel Han
somehow, I like older design for everyone :$
Pyrohunter
You almost got me there xD
