Games progress - July 30 2020
🕑 Added 2020-07-30 23:18:04 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
Single Again 0.07 - So 0.07 is almost done, I'd say around %80. I need to finish up with the writing as well as re-make the images for a scene. My hope is to get it out in a week (Aug 6th).
Other stuff - One thing I forgot to mention in the previous progress update was time jumps. I want the game to take place over a "realistic" amount of time. So that leaves a few options. One, everything happens over the course of a few weeks or so (Completely unrealistic). Two, I rack my brain trying to think of enough filler to fill up every day (Time consuming and no one likes filler). Three, use time jumps (All killer, no filler).
So, I'm going with time jumps. They won't be huge, like skipping months or anything. mostly just a day or two or three. For example 0.07 takes place on Tuesday, 0.08 will be on Friday. Skipping Wednesday and Thursday. If there is a single scene or something that happens on a day that is skipped it will be added to the beginning or end of a full day update. For those of you who made the bet with Rebecca their Wednesday date will be at the end of 0.07.
I think that's all, thanks everyone.

I've been putting the date at the start of each day, right after Frank wakes up. I've been using the code within Renpy to do it, so it's just the day and time on a black background. Perhaps I could make a separate image to make it more noticeable so it stands out more.

I for one don't mind skipping a few days here or there. Especially if it makes more sense in game.
