It's fairly simple to use, you can get it on their website, then just unzip the video file and drag it to the VLC icon. It should play pretty much any video format.
I’ve never heard of vlc until today. I’m not sure how to make it watchable through vlc. I saw that it had its own app. But I’ve never used it before.

Those are regular mp4 videos, might be a codec problem. Have you tried using VLC to play them?
For some reason I can never watch the videos. I can read everything and see the pictures, but the videos don’t work for me.
