Want to know how my vacation went? No? Well, let's get down to business!
We are almost halfway through the month for the new version and I wanted to stop by to show you what the new content will be about.
As you know, all these next months are to improve the game and add things that I left forgotten!
So, if you haven't noticed yet, person reading this, yes, the story and main quests are paused until the game is supported on a good base.
You may ask, what's going on here? The answer is simple, yes.
One of the things I wanted to implement after adding the inventory and the board.
It was the player's skills.
The next version will bring changes to logging and fishing! (Ignore the skills icon, I still have to draw them.)
Now with a small interaction (Small secundary mission) you will be able to fish in Sakura Town, and the B and A rank fish will be unlocked.Do you want an ability that makes fish slower? Or would it be too easy?
To cut down trees now it will be in a different way.(Yes, I took care of the coding and skills first, then I'll make it look nice, everything is in beta.)
Now the wood obtained will be rewarded for your skill and not randomly as it was until now.
And of course, our magic store run by the most extroverted girl.
Yes, everything is still in beta, but that's what happens when I want to show sneak-peeks this early in the month.
Now, with all that, what the heck is the next content going to be about?

I will add items that you can buy to give to the girls.
Now with the affection system, you will be able to unlock interactions to know more about the girls.If you know what they like, why not give them that? Food? A stuffed animal? A wedding ring?Aphrodisiac?
If you have any ideas, feel free to suggest them to me.Of course, trying to focus on the girls who haven't received as much attention.
Well, that's for now, if I'm still alive by the end of the month, maybe I will add some animation like petting Ryoko for other girl.

Speaking as another dev, if you add the ability to pet characters heads in a game like this, this far into it, it should trigger random actions/events (based on your affection & actions with said girl). For example: with Ryoko, maybe she hugs or kisses you afterwards, or if you haven't done anything with her in a while, she pulls you to your room (or hers) and "attacks you".

suggestions for gifts: Honestly, I think generic gifts might be a good idea, and then perhaps something a bit more specialized for each of the girls. for instance: generic: plushies, perfume (from flowers, monster drops, etc.) candy or treats of some kind, flowers, etc.. Simple stuff made available at the store... As for individual gifts, perhaps a small side quest, like step and fetch-- for instance: -A set of throwing knives for Charlotte, or another special weapon... or maybe Char just wants something girly for a change? -A bone carved hairpin or brush for Akane... perhaps a special vial worn around the neck to keep a little of the MCs blood in it, for emergencies? -A forged Katana for Ryoko... so she can accompany her favorite person more often... -A new breastplate or piece of armor for Yui ... I can come up with much more... but my suggestion for the special gifts would be some sort of step/fetch quests from the Goddess/s... special items to help our MC protect his lovely ladies, or perhaps just ensure that he can find them if trouble comes knocking. I'm just spitballing gift ideas, not making requests. I have no clue how difficult any of this may be, but I wanted to help. Take from this what you wish, NCrow, and know that I love this game, the story you're telling, either way!

Welcome back, NCrow! Hope your vacation went well, for real! The additions of skills is actually hyping me up, this game keeps getting better and better... Also, new (nerd?) girl! Can't wait to see what she's gonna be all about... The new version can't come soon enough! Wish we can see a new footjob scene for Ryoko, Shika or Charlotte, maybe? Or a foot worship scene for Akane, since she already has a footjob? Hmmm...

I hope your vacation went wonderfully, and you had an excellent Christmas and New Year... and yes, I'd be interested in hearing what you got up to over these holidays! I am happy that you do seem to be feeling better, and ecstatic that you seem to be VERY fired up about digging into this to make it even better than it already is! Great to have you back, NCrow! Don't ever be worried about needing to take that time, getting back in your headspace, and making sure you're charged fully... it means you come back like this- two weeks into the work and like "oh, yeah... I guess I should let them know I'm ok..." ... Love it. Keep on keepin' on... and thank you VERY much for never, ever, not even one time disappointing! You are awesome!
