Chapter 24 delay.
🕑 Added 2019-10-01 05:14:52 +0000 UTCFor those following my fic, The Last Prayer, I was nearly ready to update tomorrow when the program crashed on me, and when I reopened the file, all the words were converted into the # sign. 17.5K words.... gone. I feel dead.
So it's going to take me another two weeks or so to rewrite that.... I feel so gutted.

Grats on finding a way to recover your work.

Always sucks. I've done it to myself as well on a story. Don't be like me and not update it for four years after though. I'd totally suggest using some cloud software to store your writing (there are options besides google if you don't like them for one reason or another).

I personally write everything on NoteTab Light then I'll transfer it bit by bit to other drives as I finish segments. Keeping a raw copy in multiple formats - It's by far easier to fix an unedited copy if the release copy goes up in smoke like that. That being said, damn that sucks. Here's hoping it doesn't hold you back overly much.

Oh noes. I await patiently. Google drive is a good idea and free.

That's happened to me before. My condolences. It always seems to me that it's harder to get the motivation to get back on the chapter than it is to start a new one.

Since this seems to have happened in the past as well, I would heavily suggest trying to write in Google Drive then so even if your computer or browser crashes, you'll still have the file since Google will be constantly saving it for you. It's completely free and you just need a Gmail to access your files. You can find it at drive.google.com
