With your poll, most votes wanted to point with their controller. There is obviously some issues that will happen with that, but it can be fixed by moving your hand(ex menu spawning inside sylvanas tits etc) so yeah if that happens, just respawn the menu.
Right now ive made it so that the menu is only visible when the user holds in a motioncontroller button. While the menu shows, itll be attached to the vr headset, but spawned where you ahd the vr controller while holding the button.
You can then use the vr controller again to point on the menu, and then let go of the button that spawns the menu when you dont want it to show.
Ive also added VR teleportation to the free camera. If it not 100% done, but you can now move around as you wish by teleporting. Im going to use the thumbstick to let the user adjust their height up/down like (Q E) on the desktop version. VR users will still be able to use WASD if they wish, but I wont add it to the vr controller.
Ive also finished the pause menu fully.
With that what I am missing before the final release build is:
- move vr camera up and down with joystick
- Test the free camera when going from vr todesktop mode and vise versa for buggs.(due to teleporter being added.)
- Re-weight sylvanas hood, as it looks bad in doggystyle positions.
- makle sure left/right vr switch works.
after that im back to the new game xD Just figured id force myself to finish this game before I get too far into the new one. Im glad though, as ive learnt a lot of new stuff regarding saving, and menu making, and after ive gotten further on the walking on the new game, ill setup a saving system again. Early this time, so I wont have any trouble saving features along the way.
