Buckaroo, I also want to again applaud the substance of the writing. That you have people giving these substantive and powerful responses for a fictional story, is evidence of good writing.

Sorry. I'm a little late to the party. I would never presume to know someone else's experiences, but while I think that a few good points were made, I don't see Sandra as an abuser, in the typical sense and I'm guessing buckaroo isn't trying to put her in that context. I do think Sandra is a bit selfish (Justin is as much, probably moreso), but I say that because I believe this was more her dream than his. As I have said before, this is not some weekend in the woods, this is their entire day to day life. Very few people (even in our community) would truly be thrilled to have their dignity, independence and freedom taken from them permanently. That's something you make entirely certain that the little is ready for, before you seal the deal. Many have said that Justin "just needs to accept his true feelings" and that may be so, but you don't bring someone into this type of life until they have connected with those feelings.

Am I wrong, or is that not his cute little dino hoodie? I'd think a big boy picking out his own big boy clothes in order to distance himself from being little wouldn't select a blatantly juvenile article of clothing in such a moment.

Love how things are going so far. I think Justin still isn't sure if he wants to leave or not. If he really wanted to take off, he would have called someone to pick him up and not just change clothes and start playing video games. With Justin now in undies he better hope he doesn't have an accident

He's got a phone sitting next to him. If I were him, I'd call someone to come pick me up at the front gates. Unless I just really need to get some gaming in first 😆

Deep down he knows he still a little boy. Like he can't even figure out how to leave without having to get an adult to help him.
