Feedback - Commissions
🕑 Added 2020-11-08 23:37:49 +0000 UTCI want to open a few slots for commissions but I'm unsure of the best way to go about it.
My current plan is to make a post like this one and have the first 5 commenters get a slot. Then once those 5 are done, I'll announce another post and repeat the process.
Does that seem like a fair way to go about it?
If you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!
Update: for clarification, these slots would be for people who want to pay for commissions. Part of the 5$ tier is priority access to commission slots so instead of opening to the public, it's just to you all. I will include pricing and stuff when I make the post.

Can you schedule posts? If so, maybe rotate through timezones when doing it. Eg, do one at noon (or whenever) in America, then the next one at noon GMT, then the next at noon over Australia/Asia. That way people in various parts of the world have a chance to get a slot without having to be awake at some ungodly hour.

I like that idea, though Patreon's terms specifically forbid any sort of drawings or randomly chosen raffles as teir rewards. I think because gambling is illegal in some areas where Patreon operates. However, I still see people on Patreon use raffles regardless of this rule, so maybe I need to look into it further.

I agree with Blackagar Maybe a 1 per 2-3 months thing (depending on how many are subbed to the $5tier)? Would then let those in different time zones, or schedules, get a slot too

If you're going to do a "first come, first serve" type thing, then make sure to include some sort of limitation that prevents someone who already got a commission from getting another one before someone else who hasn't had the chance to comment. Otherwise, I like Kody's suggestion.
