Essentially correct. I mean hell...what can I even say? At this point, I'm just doing my best to ignore that and hope everyone forgets about it after a time. Such a disgrace to an insanely beloved character... But then...that seems to be happening to absolutely EVERYTHING now. It all gets ruined by moronic corporate action.
