I think the “Not Like Us” conversation was about the phrase more than the song. Of course the song is a Drake diss. He literally says, “Say Drake…I hear you em young” lol. But the song is used at bball games, political rallies…everywhere. And it’s bc of the overall message of the phrase. So I think that’s what he was getting at. They aren’t playing that song at the DNC bc it’s a Drake diss lol. They are playing it bc the phrase “Not Like Us” has taken on a bigger meaning.
