Psylocke (Kwannon)
It is night, and the woman who has abandoned her real name long ago is meditating inside a dark room.
Good things have happened with her recently. She escaped from the Mojo World and recovered her true body at the same time, but despite even one of those two blessings being something that would make other people jump with joy, to Kwannon, it is nothing much.
She is a woman who has been emotionally numbed by life… and by other people.
Escaping captivity in the Mojo World only allowed her to return to “captivity” in this world. The prison where she lives is not something that she can escape easily, because the prison is her life.
Trained since a young age to be a killer, manipulated by her former love, by his clan, by the Hand… Her life is a constant moving from prison to prison, never free, only changing masters.
Even now… She is about to do it once again, like she did many times before.
But what more can she do? She is worthless. Not even her honour is left… She can at least find some temporary purpose till the day she finds her true one. But her hope for that slowly diminished as the years passed, and almost perished…
Almost…
But apparently it is not fully extinguished yet…
When she was saved from the Mojo World, it was when she first got in contact with him. At first, he is only as important as her saviour, someone that she will remember for now on and owe a debt of gratitude for the rest of her life.
Living on the Mojo World, she was completely unaware of who he was or what he represented to the world. So that is why his casual proposal of coming to work for him was brushed to the back of her mind.
First, she needed to see the situation that the person who was using her body previously left her in. She needed to acclimate herself again to the world. Doing that is when she discovered who Eidolon is.
Kwannon was not even looking for information about him, but how could she live in this world and not learn about him? The Protector of the World, Hero of Humanity, Champion of the Meta-Humans…
It is not an accident that he saved her; he does that all the time.
The device Eidolon gave her became very heavy in her hand.
He is strong… That is the first thing she can truly and fully, acknowledge. She is still too cynical to confidently say that he is a good person, even if he saved her, so she can only really affirm that he is strong.
Eidolon is so strong that he can probably easily deal with her trouble. In any other circumstances, Kwannon would not bring anyone else in, because it would be indirectly killing that person. But not him…
Even if she just knows a little of the depths of the Hand, from the little she saw of Eidolon and them… he can at least damage them greatly. Hopefully, wipe them off the map.
She knows that it is not that easy, though. The Immortal leaders are around for too long to be so simple, but it can be a start… If she presses the button…
“...all starts with a leap of faith…” She can almost hear his words from an interview she watched some days earlier.
Beep
She pressed the button and stopped thinking about the many uncertainties that the future can bring, and the bad experiences in the past… She will just take a leap of faith and bring him into this… trouble.
“...heroes are nosy. If there is trouble, it is my duty to be there.”
It is surprisingly anticlimactic when she finally pressed the button. The device blinks sometimes, and she almost thought that it was calling him, Kwannon, preparing her nerves to speak with him and explain.
But suddenly it stopped. Completely dead.
“...” Did it fail? Did she take too long? Or maybe he was just playing with her…
Her thoughts don’t have the time to wander too much before she feels that something is wrong.
The noises of the city she could hear from this apartment suddenly sounded distant and slowly disappeared.
With her guard up, she slowly walks to the window, the only source of light that comes from the city. Her steps are measured, one hand inching close to the katana in her back and the other ready to materialize her psionic weapon.
She noticed, with some worry, that the window doesn’t appear to get closer even though she is walking toward it. The place gets increasingly darker and darker, and suddenly she finds herself in complete darkness. No references to where is right or left, up or down.
“Sorry for the little show… Just making sure our talk can’t be eavesdropped on by anyone.” A point in the darkness starts swirling, becoming a vortex that then swells unnaturally, and eventually Eidolon himself emerges from it while the darkness flows around his body like a black liquid.
She just stayed still and waited for Eidolon to manifest himself completely. His figure was clear as day even in this dark space.
“That… is quite the entrance…” She says flatly, letting her hands hang out on her side. Not because she is relaxed, no… it is just the knowledge that there is nothing she can do against him that made her put aside any fighting spirit.
“I confess that I enjoy theatrics on the rare occasions I can indulge myself, but I don’t play around.” He chuckles, talking casually with her before adopting a slightly more serious voice tone “I’m glad that you called for me, I was hoping to talk with you too.”
“Oh?”
“Yes, but before that… Have you thought about my proposal?” He extends his hand to her, a clear invitation.
“...” She only hesitates for a second, rummaging through her brain for any reason to back down at the last minute… She can’t find any.
So Kwannon grabs his hand, and she swears she can see him smiling with his eyes. Then the word changed, she felt a tug on her torso, and suddenly she was in another place.
At the top of the Shard, London's tallest building, overlooking the city.
“London…” She says. She was in America a second ago…
“Yeah, this is where Elizabeth Braddock lives… But that is not important now. It is just wise to move places while talking.” he explains “unless you want to talk with her…”
“...” She ignores his side glance, still looking ahead. “No… No need… I feel that it was not the last time I saw her, that we are connected by fate… But I don’t need to see her now.”
“Okay…” He nods “Now that you are working for me, you can rely on me if you need anything. And the things I will ask will be simple.” He starts “By the way, are you okay with your codename being Psylocke? Elizabeth apparently is going with Captain Britain while they are trying to pull her brother out of retirement.”
“I don’t mind.” She replies nonchalantly
“Fine, it makes things easier, Psylocke.” He nods “Now tell me… What do you want?”
“What?” Now that surprised her. She was expecting him to order her first, a mission to test both her loyalty and skills… Is this a tricky question? “I… I don’t want anything in particular…” She replies while stuttering with each word.
“I find this hard to believe…” He looks at her “You accepted my proposal after all.”
“...”
The two stare at each other for some more time. Psylocke’s purple eyes stared at his ever-changing ones. His eyes are like hypnotic swirling pools that would make people fall into them and drown.
“I … I want to do some good.” She finally finds her voice “I saw what you did… I saw what you are doing around the world. I just thought that it would be nice to… help…”
“I see… And what fuels this wish? Just the goodness of your heart? Atonement?” He asks, not in an accusatory manner, despite her feeling like that all the same
“And is that important?” That is why she got defensive
“If you don’t want to… Don’t say it. Just asking because it can also give you direction.” His eyes changing a little, his tone a little more playful “Would you be happy if I sent you to rescue cats from trees? To be an eye-candy to the Meta movement? To kill people?”
“...”
“I guess not, huhu. Then tell me, Psylocke…” He puts his face close to hers. “What do you want?” he repeats her question.
Now she understands that it is not a ploy to grab her weakness or map her personality… he is genuinely asking that because he intends to fulfill her wish.
She was ready to spend some months gaining his trust, or manipulating him a little, to point him in the direction that she wanted… but now she will forget about that original plan.
“There are evil people around the world…” She starts, her face serious, brows furrowed, and eyes filled with an intensity.
“...” He waits for her to say more.
“They did evil to me… To other people… They are doing it now… They will do it in the future… They will never stop.” She says slowly, but her voice is firm “They need to be dealt… definitely!”
If he is judging her in his mind, he doesn’t show. Even with her psychic powers, he could very well be a statue with a decayed face, impossible to read.
“Then let’s start with that.” He nods, easily agreeing with her.
She released the air she didn’t notice that she was holding, waiting for his answer.
“The Hand?” He asks
“There is also a criminal gang in Japan, being led by a man called Nyoirin Henecha. He has dealing with the Hand, and was the gateway that made me their operatives, but he is not really affiliated with them.” She explains.
In truth, her reason to single out Nyoirin, even though there are many criminal organizations around the world that also ahs dealing with the Han,d is because of a vendetta.
Eidolon gives her a look, and she could swear he can see through her intention, but he doesn’t comment on that.
“We can deal with him easily enough…” He chuckles “You can deal with him easily enough.”
“I’m not-” She was about to argue that she can’t deal with the whole criminal organization alone, but he interrupts
“Put your faith in me, Psylocke. If I said that you can deal with him… You can deal with him.” His eyes shine mysteriously. “But if you want, I can give you some backup… I knowjust the right person.”
“??” She tilts her head, hearing him chuckle
“But before that, time for you to gain the benefits of your new employment.” He extends his hand to her. “You will soon discover that I am a very generous boss.”

Third Person P.O.V.
After finishing his business with Psylocke, Eidolon was ready to make a quick trip to Japan, but something stops him on his tracks… more accurately, someone…
He noticed someone had invaded the Museum of London, and it is obviously not Black Cat, so he has to do something.
Even though he wants to deal with this person as much as he wants to deal with Deadpool, that means avoiding him as much as he can.
With a sigh, he gets invisible, intangible, and teleports to inside the museum. Despite the changes in the world, places like banks and museums haven’t made much progress in creating a security system against powers.
Not their fault, how can they stop someone from teleporting in without technology at the same level as the great minds alive? The most they can do is upgrade their monitoring system to try to know when someone breaks in and alert the authorities, and consequently, the heroes like him.
Eidolon patiently observes the thief crawl upside down on the ceiling with the help of some special gloves; he is waiting to see what the objective of the white-clad figure is.
An unnecessarily loud flap later, and the person drops from the ground and starts walking to an exhibition.
‘That is why Edna doesn’t like capes…’
Only when the person stops dramatically in front of a rock with some symbols, something that looks to be a broken piece of a scripture, is when Eidolon makes a move.
“!!!”
Moon Knight instantly feels an invisible pressure around his body, pressing him from all directions. Up, down, left, and right… Vectors of force are coming from everywhere and keeping him in place.
“Stealing is wrong.” Eidolon says, finally appearing behind him. He knows that Moon Knight can see him from the reflection of the glass.
“Not stealing, just recovering…” Moon Knight answers while struggling slightly, trying to sound calm
“And what is your proof of that?”
“This is the British Museum.”
“Hm, point taken.” Eidolon has to agree. “But I normally don’t allow people who work for shady gods to get their hands on old artifacts… Normally, it does not end well for the world.”
“Point taken.” Moon Knight has to agree
“It is good that we are both reasonable people. So, I will just let you go away. You, with your hands very empty of anything that can remotely be used to… I don’t know, resurrect someone or open a portal.”
“My hands can create trouble even when empty.”
“I don’t doubt it, but I believe that it will be of a minor scale.”
“You don’t know that! It can be a big trouble!”
“...we are moving out of the topic.” Eidolon shakes his head. “You will not accomplish what you came here to do.” He declares with a firm voice, an order.
The hero slowly releases the white-garbed avatar from his hold, but the Moon Knight doesn’t appear to want to comply.
Moon Knight turns fast and throws small chakrams at Eidolon with a swing of his arm.
“...” The hero looks at him with a tired expression, and his hands blur as he casually grabs all the chakrams by poking his index fingers in the middle of them.
In the end, he is leisurely spinning them on his fingers.
“...”
The two look at each other awkwardly, the silence stretching for too long…
“Okay, I thought that it would work in some way.” Moon Knight finally speaks
“How?” Eidolon is baffled, almost offended.
“I don’t know, it works! Maybe you would be distracted, and then I will be able to punch your face.” He asks
“...” Eidolon wisely stays silent because he feels engaging would just drag him into a rabbit hole of delusional answers on how the Moon Knight imagines that he would defeat him. “Just go, and leave the rock behind.”
“I would love to listen to a strong and dangerous gentleman such as yourself, Eidolon.” The Moon Knight starts putting on a fighting stance
“Don’t do that…”
“But I have to listen to the strong god that ordered me first… I mean, he is also in my head, and you are there… Do you get what I mean? He wins over you by time and space…”
“More or less… But is a weak argument.”
“Whatever! Everything in my cape pockets!!” Shouting his special move, Moon Knight suddenly throws everything he has at Eidolon.
Mini-chakrams, half moon boomerangs, knives, metal balls(that eidolon believes are to represent the full moon), smoke bombs, a grapple gun, kitchen knives, forks, some change, a metro card, keys(would he not need that?), a postcard of a double-decker English bus…
“...” Eidolon stays still, facing all that.
It is impressive… in some way… Eidolon swore to himself to never fall for the cliche of grabbing or letting anything anyone throw at him hit his body without him checking it thoroughly.
Too many times, arrogant, powerful people are humbled by the means of weaker individuals, the best example being Superman against kryptonite.
But seeing such a display, he can’t help but simply stay still… It is like he got taunted in being stunned.
Really impressive… Moon Knight even decided not to aim directly at him; his random items are flying in all directions and will damage some important items. Something Eidolon can’t allow.
All of this is a ploy to distract the hero while Moon Knight punches the window display and grabs the piece of rock before throwing another grappling gun at the ceiling and jumping through a window.
“We will meet again, Eidolon!” Moon Knight shouts while disappearing in the night, his cape forming the shape of an upward crescent moon.
“...” Eidolon stays still even after stopping all items with his telekinesis. “Should I allow him to meet Deadpool?” He asks himself, curious to see the encounter in reality.
Then he raises his hand to the broken display and repairs it with a touch of his knuckles, and in his hand, the real piece of rock.
Moon Knight got a fake that he created while they talked.
“A stone from the moon? There are some remnants of magic, too, but nothing that you wouldn’t find in a protective talisman that is sold in the streets by superstitious people.” Eidolon analyzes with his All Seeing Eyes of God. “I also changed what was written as a precaution.”
He replicated the rock almost perfectly, weight and shape… But what is written is rubbish.
He then creates another copy and puts it on the display while waiting for the authorities to arrive so that he can explain.
Eidolon looks at the broken window, the moon shining in the night sky…
“I don’t like it when gods that I’m not friends with it does things I don’t know on my planet.” Despite allowing Moon Knight to leave, he didn’t take this encounter lightly.
He will keep an eye on the Avatar of Khonshu discreetly, after all, people act more freely when they think no one is watching.
“I think I’m gonna take this to the Ancient One…” He gives one last look at the rock. Even with Cipher’s power, he can only translate the meaning of the scripture in a broken way, and it doesn’t make much sense.
No name, no location, no numbers, no signal that this is ominous or a good thing…
“Ah, let’s visit Raven in the meantime.” A smile appears beneath his mask. “Maybe I shouldn’t go along… She needs a friend almost as muchas she needs a husband.” He considers, and a funny idea appears in his mind.
A remnant of the previous idea of making Moon Knight and Deadpool meet just to see it.

Life is good~
Haaa~~ So this is the reward after suffering so much in that Isekai hell.
I’m now chilling in my new home… my new HOME! Not a cave, and not a web hanging in the ceiling - albeit I miss my webs a little, maybe I will redecorate a little - a real home!
Aaaah~ Life is good now. Eating, playing, lazying around,
Feet dangling out of the couch while I hold this world portable console in one hand and use the other to bring the drink to my mouth.
“Roboto-chan~ Bring me more food, please!” I shout to my maind robot, and she obeys without hesitation.
I love that! Why can’t people listen to me as Roboto-chan does? If people on that world listened to me like this, everything would have gone well… but noo~ Everyone does their own things born of their selfishness.
“I love you, Roboto-chan!” I shout while I hear her going through the cabinets to bring me a little of every type of snack.
I deserve this~ Spring has come to mama, the roller coaster of my life is finally on the top, and there are no signs of going down!

I think about it for some time… I am used to boredom and can probably stay alone for a much longer time than a normal person. A ridiculous amount of time, really. I also generally dislike humans, but I don’t dislike all of them… Some are nice, and not everyone around here is human either.
There is also that good feeling of “returning home” that you can only taste if you go out once in a while. Normal people go back home to “reset” before heading out, but I can do the opposite. Going out to “reset” and remember why I enjoy staying at home even more.
“Magic is fun…” That is what I say, I hope he understands my line of thought. Boyfriends should be able to understand their girlfriends’ minds, right? I explained everything with those three words.
“Okay. Let’s go then. You can teleport back at any time.” I knew he would understand me!
I can do that, socializing is no big deal for me.

The conversation was almost going in a good direction before things derailed again.
Raven even got out of her meditative trance and dropped to the ground.

Getting in touch with her inner selves is proving to be very problematic.
“We are you!!!” She can almost hear them shouting at a distance, but it's probably her imagination. She is going to ignore that.
Those… creatures! Are twisted caricatures of her very normal emotions and personality traits. She can take some of the blame for ignoring them for too long and allowing them to grow independently like this.
But she will never admit that those… creatures! are really a part of her.
Maybe it's time to try absorbing them back…
But… she will absolutely change… Change much more than she can predict if they are all like that. She is a little(a lot) afraid of losing herself.
“Accepting yourself…” She mutters with a mocking voice “What a load of-”
She was interrupted when she heard the sound of teleportation beside her.
She raises her eyebrows because she instantly knows that it is Hector, but he normally sneaks up on her… Why is he warning her of his arrival?
The answer doesn’t take long to hit her… He is not alone. A girl her age is walking by his side.
Her head immediately throbbed with the reaction of her Emoticlones, and she needs to shut them down before their ugly feelings seep through her.
She even felt jealousy come from them, leaving an aftertaste in her mouth… Tsk, she really shouldn’t let them have contact with the outside world all the time. They are making her feel jealousy of Hector… Ridiculous!
‘She is pretty though… like a doll…’
“Hello.” Hector greets her “Raven, this is Shiraori. Shiraori, this is Raven. I noticed that you two are pretty similar… Are quiet, like magic… And don’t have friends your age. Sooo… enjoy the start of your friendship!” He announces, like it makes complete sense

Both Raven and the girl watch him in a judgmental silence; maybe they are really a little similar.
“I will not make things awkward by staying during a girls' talk or anything like that.” He says.
‘More awkward than this???’
“Raven, why don’t you give Shiraori a tour around the Kamar-Taj? Believe in me, you guys can become chill friends at least. Bye!” And then he disappears

Raven wants to hex him, but she has a more pressing issue.
She turns to the Shiraori girl, and she realizes she can’t really get angry at her because of him…
“So… did he kidnap you?” She asks with some hesitation

“...okay.”
‘Oh god, now I’m the talkative one.’ She understands now…
This is Hector’s petty vengeance because he needs to be the talkative one with her.

Hector P.O.V.
I sigh loudly after sitting on my comfy in the Space Station.
I feel like some blue-collar worker who got out of his 12-hour shift. Well, the blame is on me for trying to “show Eidolon” after a period of absence and going above and beyond with my enthusiasm.
The number of super-powered figures is also increasing exponentially, and I went to greet them and give some warnings.
“Haah~ A situation like the one that started the Civil War is dangerously close to happening…” I sigh again.
At this point, it will not spark something like the Civil War, but will increase the temperature of the discussions about heroes and metas in general.
It just needs one dumb kid playing around with their powers, and months of my work can go down the drain.
So unfair, a good reputation can be destroyed in an instant… But I guess that is just how life is… At the same time, there are people out there waiting for this to happen to denounce me and say that everything is my fault.
There are people out there who would defend me from everything.
My work was not in vain.
“And it's not like I’m not prepared for the eventual betrayal… A hero needs a moment where people turn on them.” I almost laugh.
It is fun to think about it, but I bet that it will not be fun to live through it.

I really need to hype myself because the last one was a bummer.
Well, it at least proved that stealing luck from other people can’t do anything to the Gacha. If not, it would not be such a miss.
But I will still do my rituals… they obviously work.

I can summon her now, but what would she do? Acclimate herself, maybe… There is nothing she can do that Cortana can’t… maybe I should wait till the day I create a space crew to explore the galaxy.

It will need to be an older MK game, because the travesty they did with the female characters in the last ones is sad… Or in reality, they would still be hot. That would be good.
I will put more thought into that later.

Despite being mostly useless to me at this point, I’m so fond of those things that I immediately materialize the items in my hand.

“A representation with the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac. Each giving a power… Half of it is a very hero-like power, and the other half is Chinese mysticism.” I explain, “Like this one, the Tiger Talisman, that can duplicate a person in a good and evil version of the-?!”
Suddenly, a hard-light construct of Cortana appears and yanks the talisman from my hand.
“I’m confiscating this.” She says with an austere voice, hand high in the air like a mom keeping something out of the reach of a kid
“Ah c’mon, I would never use it.” I chuckle
“I’m curious. Can you use it?” Nemesis asks with great interest.
“No.” Cortana is the one who answers, “You are not allowed to touch this, Master.” Cortana commands
“Yes, ma’am…” I roll my eyes like a teenager.
I understand where she is coming from.
An evil Hector would create a loooot of trouble.
“I will take it and put them all into a nice frame for you.” Cortana continues to act like my mom and takes all my talismans from me.
“I guess a guy shouldn’t mind being ordered by their woman when they just want what is good for them…” I shrug and click to check the next card.
