Summary: A retired hero has made a piece of land into a home over the last five years. He's built up his farm and he's enjoyed the simple life as a farmer. He is a bit lonely though. Along comes a retired heroine that he used to run with back in the day. She too has enjoyed her life as a traveling merchant since their time together.

Bron had a smile on his face as his muscles bulged under the strain. The man had never been more content than in this moment, tilling his field and preparing it for planting. One wouldn’t think of him as a farmer if one looked at him, but to be fair, he’d only owned this farm for a few years now. Before then, Bron had spent much of his life as a hero.
The beefy, musclebound, broad shouldered man stands at over six feet tall as he sweats and toils under the morning sun. He is Bron the Victorious, Bron the Righteous, Bron the Redeemer. Well, he WAS. Now he is just Bron. The hero gave up such a life years ago and he has no intentions of going back to it. His mighty battle-axe rests above his mantle and while he will sometimes spend a night staring at it and remembering everything that he’d achieved with the weapon, it no longer calls to him.
The lust for battle and glory is long passed for Bron the Retired. Now he is but a farmer and that’s just the way the buff man likes it. Grunting, Bron comes to a stop as he reaches the very corner of his field. The tilling is done and the planting will take place tomorrow. For now, Bron heads inside with his tools and lays them against the wall where they belong, before moving to grab the feed for the animals.
A farm isn’t a farm without some farm animals after all. Bron has a couple goats, a couple pigs, a few cows and at least a dozen chickens. He loves them all, not for companionship or anything, but because the man has always been a hearty meat eater and with the proper storage, a slaughtered pig can feed Bron for a month, not even mentioning just how long a fully fattened cow will feed him.
Mm, companionship. Here, Bron’s smile droops just a little. If there is one thing about a life as a farmer that so far has weighed on him, it is the loneliness. The retired hero has had no small amount of maidens, rescued damsels throwing themselves at him. He certainly had his fair share of marriage proposals from Kings and Lords to their daughters. He would have become a landed noble in his own right, rather than a farmer with this simple parcel of land.
But Bron had no desire to be a noble. He did not want to marry a princess, nor did he want to marry a lady. More than that, he’d yet to meet a damsel who would do well on a farm. Living on a farm was not an easy life and he would not drag a woman into it that would end up unhappy. He did not wish to start a family with someone who would ultimately come to resent him for his simple desires.
And so, Bron lived on this farm alone. He tended to it all on his lonesome and he would not deny the fact that he was at times in desperate need of human contact. Unfortunately, such contact was limited way out here. While he had made sure to buy his land within walking distance of a traveled road, he’d also made sure to keep some trees between him and the road.
After all, if he’d wanted to run a tavern for weary travelers, he would have done that rather than build this farm with his bare hands. Still, sometimes he wished he could take in one or two travelers…
Letting out a sigh, Bron finishes with feeding the animals and heads for his home. The work is done for now and it is time to eat. He will-
“Bron! Bron! It really is you!”
A familiar voice tears the retired hero out of his morose thoughts and Bron spins around, eyes wide as he takes in an equally familiar head of red hair atop a beautiful face. Alys smiles brightly and waves her hand back and forth, even as she walks forward, a large pack on her back and a horse-drawn cart filled with goods sitting behind her.
Bron cannot help but smile just as brightly as he raises his own hand in greeting and moves forward. The two meet in the middle and Alys laughs as she drops her pack to the ground and jumps into his arms, hugging him tightly around the neck as well as around the waist with her legs. Bron laughs as well, grunting as he catches her and is forced to take a step back.
Only Alys, the beautiful, muscular woman that she is, could possibly force him to move through such a maneuver. But then, only Bron, broad shouldered and musclebound as HE is, could possibly manage to catch her without toppling over. They hug for a moment more and then Alys unlatches herself from him and pulls back, a slight blush on her face, but no shame in her twinkling eyes or her wide smile.
“I’d heard you’d become a farmer Bron, but I wasn’t sure I believed it until I saw you feeding those pigs of yours just now! Look at you! And I bet you built all of this yourself as well, didn’t you?”
Bron nods, his smile only growing wider as he confirms her words, glancing back at what he’s managed to create. Alys was essentially just like him. A heroine who’d been so successful, so triumphant, that she’d managed to reach an age most in their field never did. Growing beyond thirty winters had only served to enhance her beauty though and Bron couldn’t help but look her over as she studies his farm, whistling in appreciation.
Of course, then he notices something strange about his long-time friend. He’s never seen Alys go anywhere without her chain mail armor and her sword before. In fact, while she definitely looked more exposed in the bikini armor than in her new clothing, he can’t help but feel out of sorts with how she looks now.
The red head notices the look on Bron’s face and laughs.
“Do I look strange to you Bron? Heh, I suppose you wouldn’t know, living out here on your farm all these years. You probably don’t hear much in the way of heroing gossip anymore. Anyways, I retired only a year after you did. Being a heroine was fun and all, but that’s a young woman’s game, I know that. I decided to become a trader, a traveling merchant. I still get to see all those lovely places, but rather than fighting for my life, I fight for the right to make a bit more coin off of something then what I paid for it. It’s a heck of a lot calmer, that’s for sure!”
Ah, he can see it now. It was just so unbelievable before, that he truly didn’t put two and two together, regarding Alys’ horse-drawn packed cart, as well as the large pack she’d been wearing on her back. It all makes plenty of sense, if he simply sets aside his preconceived notion of her as a sword-wielding heroine and accepts that she’s now a merchant.
His smile grows a little mischievous as he inclines his head but he does speak in a sincere tone… at first.
“Good for you Alys. I’m glad to hear you’re doing well for yourself. Though… what brings a traveling merchant to my farm of all places?”
Alys scoffs and reaches up to cuff the suddenly grinning Bron upside the head.
“You big dolt, you might be able to pull off simple-minded barbarian or simple-minded farmer with people who don’t know you, but I’m wise to your little games! I came here to see YOU silly! I missed you! … Didn’t you miss me?”
For a moment, the proud, strong red head is just a bit nervous, just a bit vulnerable. Bron’s smile becomes tender as he steps forward and pulls the slightly shorter woman into another hug.
“Of course I did Alys. Now, you can stay the night, right? I’ll slaughter a cow and start preparing dinner.”
When they pull apart, Alys is grinning and nodding, even as she glances back at her cart.
“Sounds good to me Bron. But you’re going to let me help you with that. I’ve got some of the rarest, finest spices and herbs in all the land. I’m sure you’ve been stuck with nothing but a bit of salt for your meat these last few years, if that. Well, have I got a surprise for you!”
Bron can’t help but feel a little skeptical… but in the end, he just shrugs.
“You’ve never led me wrong before. I won’t start doubting you now Alys.”
Her blinding smile is enough for Bron to feel good about that decision, regardless of how these spices and herbs end up tasting.

Bron groans as he settles down onto his furs, rubbing his full belly. Alys flops down beside him, sighing happily and patting her own abdomen as she turns her head and grins.
“Well?”
The retired hero can’t help but nod his head up and down.
“Alright, I concede… that was delicious.”
“Of course it was! I AM always right after all!”
Bron snorts at that and turns his own head to face his lifelong friend.
“Is that so? You’re ALWAYS right?”
Alys just smirks easily and half shrugs.
“Yep! Name one time when I’ve been wrong!”
The wicked grin on Bron’s face tells the red head she’s fallen right into his trap.
“Well…”
“Wait! Stop! I know what you’re going to say, and I’ll have you know that that Prince had cast a spell on me! It robbed me of my mental faculties for a brief time, but I was able to break free of it in the end, wasn’t I?!”
Bron allows Alys her falsehood… mostly.
“With my help of course.”
Giving her friend a faux glare, seeing what he’s doing, Alys grumbles and nods.
“Yeah, with your help. It was lucky that that Princess’ own spell didn’t work on you.”
Bron smirks as Alys continues the little ‘magic’ charade. In truth, there’d been no magic at all. Alys had fallen for the Prince’s outer charms while Bron hadn’t been impressed by his sister, the Princess, one bit. When the siblings had had their incestuous relationship exposed, Alys had been shocked and heart broken. Bron had managed to get her out of there before shit truly hit the fan though.
“Maybe it didn’t work because I already had someone else I loved more…”
He’s not sure where the words come from. Judging by Alys’ abruptly wide eyes, she’s just as shocked as he is. The extremely confident woman suddenly doesn’t seem so sure of herself, blushing and nibbling at her lower lip in a way that Bron has to admit is extremely cute.
“O-Oh?”
Well, he’s stepped in it now hasn’t he? Might as well go all the way…
“Yeah… the princess paled in comparison.”
Alys grins.
“Must have been one fine woman Bron.”
Bron half shrugs. Both of them are on their sides now, facing each other, faces only inches apart.
“She certainly is Alys. But then I’ve always had a thing for red heads.
The beautiful retired heroine doesn’t bother with a verbal response. Instead she takes initiative and a moment later, the two of them are kissing, heatedly. Lips smacking together, their hands travel along one another’s bothers. Bron can barely believe this is happening. Had he tripped while tilling the field and this was all just a wondrous hallucination?
If true, he didn’t actually care. In the end, the man simply wanted to enjoy this while it lasted. Alys seemed to be the same way, kissing him almost ferociously. Ultimately, it’s the red head who takes things to the next level, pushing Bron back onto his back and mounting him right then and there. She pulls away from his lips as she swings one leg over him and straddles his stomach. Her toned ass rubs back against the bulge growing in his pants as her lips part and she pants a bit.
Her hands rest on his covered pecs for a moment and then she growls and grips the linen, tearing it straight off him in an impressive show of her old strength. Bron grunts as she does so, but grins at the same time. His own hands come up and take hold of her chest. Alys moans, tossing her crimson mane back along with her head as he begins to knead her bountiful, bound chest through the top she’s wearing.
The warrior woman has always been exceptionally well endowed, but she wears a wrap around her chest to keep her tits from swinging free. After molesting them through said wrap as well as her shirt for a few brief moments, Bron pauses, causing Alys to glance down at him in confusion. Their eyes meet and she can see the question there. After a moment, she grins and nods, giving him her silent permission.
Her shirt comes off a second after that, torn to shreds just like his own. And then her wrap is gone and her big, delicious tits are free, bouncing into his large-fingered hands as he kneads them. Alys moans wantonly at the very direct contact, but seeing how enamored Bron is with her breasts, the red head realizes quickly that she will need to initiate anything further.
While Bron grows mesmerized by the sight of Alys’ jiggling tits in his grasp, Alys herself works to undo the tie on his pants, pulling them down enough for his thick, throbbing member to pop out. She gets up a little, crouching over Bron in order to pull her own pants down her legs. He doesn’t complain though, this has the added effect of placing her tits quite literally right in his face.
Alys moans as Bron goes to work on her nipples with his mouth and his tongue, but that doesn’t stop her from accomplishing her task. A few seconds later, Bron’s cock is fitted inside of her cunt lips and the retired heroine is slowly sliding down her lifelong friend’s impressive length. Bron groans into Alys’ tit and Alys in turn moans at just how big he is.
Her tight pussy walls stretch around his cock even as she clenches down purposefully, all along his member. It takes a bit, but eventually Alys has every last inch of Bron inside of her. For a few brief moments, the two lay like that, her on top of him and him beneath her. She moves back a bit so that they’re face to face once more, and while his hands continue to grope her breasts, Alys kisses the retired hero for all she’s worth, their tongues warring together for dominance.
Finally, Bron’s hands move from her tits to her ass. He grabs hold of her shapely, firm posterior and a moment later, he’s thrusting into her from below. Alys cries out in pleasure at the action, moaning into his mouth and kissing him all the harder, even as she begins to bounce up and down on his cock. The two had always been close, but this is the first time something like this has happened between them. Neither had ever known how the other had felt.
Now that they did, they had quite a lot of catching up to do. Alys moans even as she feels her first orgasm swiftly approaching. Bron’s cock just might be the very best she’s ever had, and she regrets for all of a single moment not ever enjoying it before now. Then, she decided it’s better to focus on the present (and the future!) rather than on the past. Crying out even louder, the red head warrior woman cums right there around Bron’s dick. Her pussy tightens rhythmically and her breasts jiggle in his grasp as she spasms and shakes. Bron just grunts as he continues to piston up into her.
He’s like a beast, fucking her so roughly. There comes a point where Alys can barely even keep herself upright anymore. When Bron notices this, he flips things around and suddenly, its she who is on her back while he lays above her, staring down at her with such love in his eyes that she can’t help but lean up to kiss him.
Bron’s hands leave Alys’ breasts and move to hers. He intertwines his fingers in her own and they clutch at each other in this manner, holding hands on either side of Alys’ head as he continues to thrust his big, throbbing member into her tight, needy pussy. Alys cries out into his mouth and her body shakes again from another orgasm.
This time, Bron can’t hold back anymore. He cums right alongside her, filling her womb with his seed in an incredibly satisfying manner. And then it’s over. As the two of them come down from the afterglow of their sexual act, Bron pulls out of Alys and settles into his side of the furs. Both stare up at the roof of his hut.
“That was…”
“Indeed…”
And that’s all there is to say between the two. They drift off apart, but by the time they wake up in the morning, Alys is curled into Bron’s side and Bron himself has an arm wrapped around her shoulders.
In the end though, Alys has to go. She has her life and Bron has his. Still, he can’t quite feel sorry for himself. Instead, he feels content and satiated as he watches the beautiful woman lead her horse-drawn cart away from his farm, back towards the main road. He might not ever see her again… and yet, having her for one night was enough for him.
-x-X-x-
“Oi! Bastard!”
Four months after that fateful night, Bron is startled by the familiar voice. Blinking, the retired hero turns to see Alys walking towards him once again, in the same way she had before. Except there’s a very noticeable difference between this time and that time. This time, her tits strain against her shirt, no longer bound by cloth… and her belly is beginning to grow large with child.
The retired warrior woman stops a few feet away and places her hands on her hips, her legs apart. She’s trying to look angry with him, but in the end, she just grins.
“You better take responsibility for this Bron.”
Bron can’t help but grin just as widely in response.
