I'm of the same mindset, tbh. Normally dozens of children vying for the throne would be a succession nightmare but we came here to read about people fucking, so who gives a shit about any of that.

Matthew Lynch

He should give his true born son many loving sisters to dick down

MehOhWell

We're this an actual GOT/ASOIAF story, I'd be concerned. But eh, its smut. Things will work themselves out. I just wonder if the Westerosi have figured out that Jon is a Targaeryen or if they think he's just an up-jumped bastard who got in bed with the last dragoness.

Konaroln

Jon is well changing the Dothraki from predators to freemen, and he's well prepared to roll them into giant Snowslide, or a wheel to break the wheels, that will start from Essos. While Dany was cutely ashamed of her pregnancy, Jon sweetly handled Dany's shyness :)😊 Now, to think of this small but big dilemma that we're facing... Jon certainly wouldn't want his children to be born and live as a bastard. Not to mention being left indiscreet and becoming a future nuisance. But even if Dany was Jon’s first true love and wife, Jon could have more wives if he wanted to, and even if his bastards were born, I think Jon can legalize his children. He will soon be a Stallion Who Mounts The World, and he does not have to be tied to the notions or view of Seven faith that once harassed him through Catelyn. And Blackfyre Rebellion was not just because Aegon the Unworthy had a lot of bastards, but because he decided to make his bastards abruptly legalize just before his death. And also because of his actions, which were previously accumulated, impulsive, stupid, and unprepared. Jon can better prepare and handle his family or succession issues than the Unworthy. Certainly, it is not enough for him to give his children a good life to prevent discord. But if Stark's bond represented by "Pack", Jon's experience of being treated as a bastard, and Targaryen's decline history due to "Dance of Dragons"&"Blackfyre Rebellion" could be used as a lesson to Rebuild a Targaryen family, he could suppress the feuds or fights between his descendants as much as possible Maybe. Of course, it's going to be a tough challenge, in proportion to the number of women Jon will have. ;p, 🤭

Oh yeah, it’s Genghis Khan time

Essos cares not for the concept of Bastards and in Westeros the new order could be, as I replied to another comment, spun as a way/measure to prevent another Blackfyre Rebellion. Basically, he could say as King he declares all from his moment forwards all children of his line to be naturalise regardless of their birth in perpetuity. Wrap it up in a pretty speech after a sufficient show of force and the Lords and Ladies of Westeros would be eating out of his hands... "There shall be no second rebellion for there shall be no Blackfyres. From now on any son or daughter of House Targaryen is True regardless of who may sire them. In the House of a Dragon Lord, there are no Bastards and Baseborn, only Kings and Queens."

DualEquinox

Why? He already has a "Trueborn" heir on the way so there won't be a concern about backing him in a bid to take the throne with no heir to carry on the line and any "bastards" in the eyes of Westeros can be naturalised as is his right as King once he has the Iron Throne. Hell, he could even spin it as a measure to prevent another Blackfyre Rebellion. "There shall be no second rebellion for there shall be no Blackfyres. From now on any son or daughter of House Targaryen is True regardless of who may sire them. In the House of a Dragon Lord, there are no Bastards and Baseborn, only Kings and Queens."

Mellowfellow

Speaking of Bastards, is the fake Aegon (Blackfyre) going to feature in this story? If yes, I'd imagine Illyrio and Varys are panicking over Jon wrecking their plans.

Hadrian v.E.

A bastard is only a bastard if everyone buys into the concept, so have Jon breed an army of loyal nubile daughters upon his women and put anyone who insults their heritage in their place.

Eddie

I think he should avoid the bastards

tornadoboy

Good lives won't address the potential instability of Bastards claiming power. Heck it might make it more acute, seeing as how they could claim his affections legitimized them. If he can avoid leaving a litter of Bastards he should
