“Good.”
The Lunar Princess seems almost smug, as she looks between Marika, her kindling maiden, and the new Elden Lord. The Eternal Queen cannot deny him his throne now. She would not dare. Even still, she refuses to play second fiddle to anyone. She did not fail to note the way Ranni had referred to Melina as her daughter, and she as her mother.
… Hmph, she supposed it was technically true, after a fashion. While Marika had not birthed Melina in the conventional way, she had still borne her out into the world. Indeed, how long had Melina remained a twinkle in Marika’s eye? How many months, nay, years, had she crafted the kindling maiden before sacrificing so much of her focus in the fight against Radagon and the Elden Beast to send her out into the world?
Yes, in that way, Melina was in fact her daughter. Perhaps not a demigod, but no mere mortal either. She wasn’t supposed to be alive at all by this point, and yet… clearly, the new Lord had taken a liking to her. If nothing else, her presence should make him more tractable to Marika’s entreaties. Yes… in the end, she simply couldn’t see how allowing Melina to attend them could be a bad thing.
And yet, Ranni treated it like her victory, as she ultimately settled her attention on the new Lord, bowing her head in his direction.
“Once thou’rt finished with the Queen, thou shall attend me… and my mother at the Academy of Raya Lucaria. It wouldst seem thee wish shall be granted after all, though I intended originally on leaving this all behind. Now, twould appear my plans must change.”
For a moment, Marika is taken aback by the mention of Rennala. The Queen’s nostrils flare, as she feels a strange stirring within her at the mere mention of the other woman’s name. Rennala of the Full Moon, the Last Queen of Caria. To be frank, there should have been no emotional attachment there. It was not Marika’s fault that Radagon had heeded the Elden Beast’s call and returned to Leyndell to keep an eye on her as her new Consort.
And yet, she feels a smidgen of guilt for a brief second at even the merest mention of the other woman. How utterly inane. Shaking herself out of it, the Eternal Sovereign sniffs haughtily, calling out as Ranni turns to go.
“I wouldst not expect him any time soon, Princess Ranni. I suspect I shall be busy with the new Lord for quite some time.”
Far from being upset by Marika’s assertion, Ranni looks amused, if nothing else. She even has the temerity to chuckle, of all things!
“I wouldst expect nothing less, Queen Marika. I wish thee the best of luck. Thou’rt in for a treat. Thy Lord can be… quite the handful.”
And then, because of course the brat HAS to have the last word, she vanishes from the heart of the Erdtree, disappearing and leaving the three of them alone. Forcing Marika to mull over Ranni’s final words for a moment in silence. Figuring out what the other Goddess was saying wasn’t entirely difficult, to be fair. After everything she’d seen by reaching back and gazing at the events that took place while she was trapped in the Erdtree, as well as what she’d witnessed with her own two eyes in the Tarnished’ battle against the Elden Beast… yes, it was obvious he was quite the man.
Even still, the Lunar Princess thought he would be enough to tire Marika out in such short order? Pah! Don’t make her laugh. Still, she would surprise Ranni by taking the warning as it came… and utilizing the gift Ranni had almost certainly not meant to give her.
Hm, the healing provided by the Tarnished had restored her body, but not her clothes. As such, she was currently clad in nothing but a simple wrap around her waist. The rest of her body was exposed… but then, as the Eternal Queen, what care did she have for modesty? Letting her gaze sweep over Melina and the new Lord, Marika smirks and spins around, beginning to lead the way out of the Erdtree’s Heart.
“Come. Let us adjourn to mine chambers at once.”
Melina squirms but follows along with the Tarnished all the same. Soon enough, they arrive at Marika’s bed chambers. The Royal Capital is still somewhat on fire, but Marika’s power, especially bolstered by the Elden Beast, is enough to keep the ash and smoke at bay.
Unfortunately, the Erdtree itself will likely be burning for quite some time to come. Tis not as easy as simply… undoing what has been done. Twas why the Elden Beast pushed so hard for them to make war upon and destroy the Giants and their Fell God in the first place. Their Fell Flame was a very real threat to the Erdtree’s physical existence, and it had been used to great effect here.
However, the new Elden Lord’s presence, as well as his contribution to the newly constituted Elden Ring, would see the fire burning out eventually with the Erdtree mostly intact. And their power would remain so as well, as mighty as ever.
Ah, but now was not the time to think of such things. She had not brought these two here to her bedchamber to contemplate the future and the politics that would no doubt follow, now, had she? No, she’d come here to get to know her new Consort.
Lounging back on her large, spacious bed, Marika looks to her… mm, daughter, as well as the new Elden Lord.
“I have observed the Lands Between through thine eye, mine daughter. I have seen thy travels, as well as the actions of this once-lowly Tarnished. It is clear to me, that I hath much catching up to do.”
Melina, at least has the good grace to blush at this. The new Elden Lord, however, has begun removing his armor and clothes, stripping down to reveal his naked body. Marika’s eyes drift over the scar upon his chest momentarily, and she finds she cannot muster up the distaste she knows she should feel at the sight of it. To be Marked by the Frenzied Flame’s Three Fingers directly… this alone should not only have disqualified him from the Elden Throne, while also driving him mad besides.
Instead, he’d done the unthinkable, keeping his wits about him all the way to the end. Through a frankly ludicrous chain of events, he had traveled to a moment beyond time itself, where he’d used one of her son’s needles to end the threat posed by the Frenzied Flame nestled in his chest. Now, that scar was little more than a reminder of how close they’d all come to a Lord of Frenzied Flame… and a reminder to how far his loyalty towards her precious kindling maiden went.
He'd risked it all, to make sure her little matchstick got here. Well, far be it from Marika to keep two lovebirds apart.
“But first… a reward. Go on, mine daughter. Prepare thy Lord for me. Use thy tools at thy disposal so that I might taste of his… delights.”
Melina’s one open eye gets progressively wider, as Marika lays out her intentions. Then, she looks over to the Tarnished Lord and with a rather bright blush, slowly walks over to him. The new Elden Lord sits upon the edge of the bed, not far from Marika herself, and allows Melina to kneel down between his legs.
Shifting so that she has a proper view of what’s happening, Marika watches her daughter remove her own clothing, at least the top part, and expose her breasts. Marika didn’t remember crafting the girl with such… large mammaries in mind, but to be fair, she hadn’t exactly been clear-headed at the time. Melina had been a twinkle in her mind’s eye for years before she’d acted to birth her into the world, but more than that, she was also not made from nothing.
Perhaps her sizable chest was Ranni’s influence, hm? Certainly, Melina did not get it from her. As the kindling maiden wraps her breasts around the new Lord’s massive mast and begins riding them up and down his length while blushing all the while, Marika compares their chest sizes. She does not find herself wanting, of course. Rather, she thinks her own size to be perfect. Tis Melina who has the deficiency here, with those… hmph, cow udders of hers.
Ah, but she will not disparage her youngest daughter aloud. That would be crude, especially when the girl is doing her a favor. After all, the Lunar Princess had warned her of her new Consort’s stamina. Best to… heh, tucker him out a bit first, if Ranni was going to be so kind as to give such unsolicited advice.
After a moment, hesitantly but also eagerly, Melina moves her mouth forward and covers the tip of her lover’s mast with her lips. Quite the ingenious maneuver. Young people these days, coming up with all sorts of interesting acts. Was it not enough to spread one’s legs anymore? Well, when the difference was a matter of divinity, Marika supposed they had to do everything they could to keep up…
With a sudden gasp, Melina rears back as the new Lord spills his essence all over her. Uncouth, crude, and crass… but there is something to be said about the honest delight across Melina’s messy face, until she notices how closely Marika is watching and immediately ducks her head in embarrassment and humiliation.
But the Tarnished simply turns away from Melina… and offers Marika his mast next. He is indeed still hard, despite just releasing all across Melina’s chest. How intriguing. Marika is left to wonder, just how long this mortal man can last. Smirking, she moves from lounging on her side to laying on her back, resting her weight on her elbows as she lifts her upper body up and spreads her legs wide.
“Come then, mine Lord. Come and lay with a God.”
He does not hesitate, to his credit. And soon that sizable shaft of his is buried inside of her, and Marika… Marika finds herself enjoying it very much.

As her m-mother cries out in ecstasy, Melina blushes and sneaks a lick of her Tarnished’s seed from her lips, cleaning herself off surreptitiously in the process. She doesn’t dare rise from the floor… not yet, at least. She’s not entirely sure she wants to witness Queen Marika getting… getting fucked by her beloved.
Still, they’d done it. Melina could scarcely believe it possible. Not only had they managed to make it to the heart of the Erdtree, not only had her chosen champion ascended to the Elden Throne, remaking the Elden Ring, and becoming Elden Lord… but he had done so off the back of his defeat of the Elden Beast… and in turn, brought together two women who Melina had never thought would reconcile.
Finally deigning to lift her head up enough to look, Melina blushes even harder at what she sees. Letting the Tarnished use her chest for his own satisfaction while the Eternal Sovereign looked on was one thing. One incredibly embarrassing thing, no less, but manageable at least.
However, watching the Tarnished fuck Marika in front of her, with the beautiful blonde Goddess’ legs raised high in the air on either side of his broad, muscular torso, her arms wrapped around his neck as she cries out… that’s something else entirely. Melina bites her lower lip, and then scoops her champion’s seed from her flesh a bit more swiftly, and a lot more securely. Marika is in no position to see what she’s doing right now, nor in any position to judge her for it.
The Eternal Queen is decidedly flat on her back and getting taken in a truly spectacular fashion by the man she’d underestimated at every turn. Melina couldn’t help but be a little happy about that. She… she had decided that she did not hate Marika, for making her for such a fleeting purpose, or for expecting her chosen champion to never make it to the Erdtree.
It was her entire reason for being, after all, and Melina was still struggling with figuring out what she was to do now that her usefulness had long passed her by. She wanted to live for her Tarnished, who she supposed was now her Lord. That much… that much was clear to her at least.
But beyond that? What else was there? Well, one thing was for sure… there was this.
“BY THE ERDTREE, DOST THOU EVER SLOW DOWN!”
Melina can’t help but softly smile, as she finally pushes herself up onto the bed, next to where Marika is being soundly fucked into the large, soft mattress by her new Lord. Even though the question wasn’t meant for her, she answers it all the same.
“No, mother, he does not. I can say that with a not-inconsiderable measure of experience in the subject.”
Marika’s eyes flicker over to Melina, and Melina is treated to the most spectacular sight. The Eternal Queen, actively flustered from how she’s being taken by Melina’s Tarnished, right in front of Melina’s eyes. Hah, apparently it was one thing to watch him use Melina’s chest for his satisfaction, but another entirely to be watched in such a state in turn.
Not that Melina gets a chance to do anything about it. Marika’s reaction to her proximity is one thing. Her beloved’s reaction to her proximity, on the other hand, is to reach over, grab Melina, and yank her down onto the bed right next to Marika. Both women gasp, even as the Tarnished continues to slam into Marika’s sex with the fullness of his length. But he’s also now fingering Melina, his hand moving under her skirt and his digits dipping into her dripping wet honeypot.
There’s something to be said, about receiving such pleasure from her beloved, while he also makes vigorous and unending love to her mother. Melina doesn’t mind it, she finds. She doesn’t mind it one bit…

She’s not quite sure how she ended up like this, hugging her daughter close as the new Lord made a mockery of the both of them. He was insatiable, and Marika had quickly lost track of time. In a good way though, that much she could admit. It was not the way she lost track of time while in an endless fight for both her body and soul against Radagon and the vassal beast of the Greater Will.
Nay, this was… far more pleasurable, and without the existential dread of potentially being subsumed by her other-half besides. Radagon was gone and so was the Elden Beast. Marika was all that remained. And yet, as she faces down this Tarnished who has become Lord, as she faces down the mortal lynchpin of the new Elden Ring, Marika finds herself… not quite minding that she would be sharing him with so many other women.
He's insatiable. Relentless. Entirely too much for any one woman to handle. Not that… not that she is a normal woman, o-of course. Nay, she IS a God, well and t-truly! It’s just that… well, obviously she is still recovering from her time imprisoned. She was tortured by her warden, the Elden Beast, and harassed by her fellow prisoner, Radagon, for who could say how long.
Yes, it made perfect sense that she wasn’t at her best quite yet. She was merely… easily exhausted and worn out because she needed more rest.
When he finally pulls away from her and Melina, leaving the bed with them both quite satiated and satisfied, Marika purses her lips as her youngest daughter cuddles into her side, already fast asleep. She looks at the new Elden Lord through lidded eyes, as he begins to get dressed, clearly intending on going to carry out the Lunar Princess’ will. Hmph, Ranni had known this would happen. That bitch.
Still, Marika would not have it said that he went without her permission, without her blessing.
“Go, mine Lord. Give the Lunar Princess and Queen Rennala mine best.”
He pauses briefly, before glancing back at her and nodding with a broad smile upon his handsome face. Marika’s not sure whether it’s that smile of his, or her own mentioning of Queen Rennala again, but she once more feels that strange pang in her chest.
How very odd…

A/N: Hm, why does thinking of Rennala make Marika feel all tingly inside? That's odd. Oh well, I'm sure it's nothing. Certainly, with two chapters left after this one, we don't have the time to cover it.
But wait, there's 14 bonus chapters after that! Hmm... :P
