Geez being blue really is suffering

Razgriz0x

WHAT A TWIST! Plot twists, revelation after revelation, attempted murder and the Final Battle begins. Cam's pokémon may be a little tired after coming up battling Lance, Victory Road and Champion Red(Yellow). Oak's pokémon however are fresh and ready to go. Who will win? Who will fall? Will youth triumph over age? Will Bad defeats Monstrous? Find out on the next Pokém--... the next 'Blasting Off'!!

You know what I had funny thought, basically Oak's "good end" is only possible IF Blue managed to defeat Red/Yellow (which was possible since Blue was fairly close to doing so). Honestly in general I sort of want to see a what if Blue won oneshot and repercussions of it. Admittedly also thought to make Red defeat fetishe send her into heat thus leaps onto Blue. Poor little guy going "Help Help, I need an adult!" Then see Oak walk into room and scream "Grandpa help me! This crazy chick keeps trying to undress me after I beat her!" LMAO

Cambrian

Yus, but not to worry, he has his Big Bro Cam to support him now!

Wow, it's rough being Blue

Cambrian

All I'll say is that next chapter is very ball's to the wall, but Oak and Cam's Pokemon Battle takes up very little of it :P

Cambrian

Lol even in the ROM Hack he seems to see something unusual in the player character, but it's never properly explored

Cambrian

Hehe, yeah he's a monster in this~

Cambrian

yeah I would say Blue didn't have a purpose in Samuel's eyes, he was a surprise obligation if anything.

LordMarksman

Well Im glad Agatha managed to survive and couldn't help but feel that scene with Dragonite holding off the charge to be pretty cool. As far as Blue is concerned, yup I remembering you mentioning this. Still, a part of me can't help but wonder if besides the fact that Oak is pretty far gone. If that is another reason why he doesn't concern himself with Blue is subconsciously a part of him forces himself not to because if he actually did he would have felt a shit ton of guilt towards the little guy and of course towards his mother Daisy too. But probably more so Blue since all little wanted for so long was Oak's love and recognition. Plus for a moment old Oak did leak out seeing Blue was pokemon champion. Anyway I'm looking forward to moment where Oak realizes he lost everything both his plans and his family. I also kind of hope Blue is one to twist the knife for last bit so to speak. Something that pierces through Oak's massive ego and makes him realize he forever lost something precious. Not just him raging how plans went up in flame. A truly complete defeat laden with eternal regret he can't help but feel looking back on things as now he has nothing. Anyway next chapter feels like will either be glorious or anticlimatic battle wise. Either this will be damn hard fight for Cam or Cam being OP pokemon trainer he is will also steamroll Oak in a hilarious fashion.

TheSinful

Not sure if it's more or less fitting that Oak is literally his own worst enemy here as opposed to failing because of some no name punk.

Kazama

I await more xD I have to say though that this has certainly gone a lot further than I thought it would. What with Oak normally being seen as a kind old man and now...just this xD

TheSinful

He didn't have a purpose because he was irrelevant.

Smile Dip

I wonder what even was Blue's purpose to Samuel? Because he doesn't seem to have done anything in his life (past his defeat) without some kind of purpose. Was he just supposed to be another hurdle Red(/Yellow) would rise above?
