Vibe Check: The Grimm Prince
🕑 Added 2022-11-16 15:52:25 +0000 UTCAnd last but (hopefully?) not least, we have my RWBY fic.
I've said before that The Grimm Prince is one of my more experimental stories. Well now it's time for you guys to let me know how that experiment is going.
Are you enjoying The Grimm Prince? Are you still having a good time with it? Is the pacing alright? Is the action and character interaction fun?
I'll admit, The Grimm Prince holds a special place in my heart because it's played a big part in helping me expand my horizons off of canon and into more alternate universe stuff. Used to be when I wrote a story I was plotting out on my own I couldn't be bothered to get off the rails.
Well, there pretty much are no rails for The Grimm Prince. We shot canon in the back of the head in Chapter 1 and threw it out with the trash. But has that succeeded?
I suppose if I had to replace The Grimm Prince, I'm imagining a Male OC story set at Beacon. Sort of in a similar vein as The Arc Family Techniques, but without Jaune as the main character (in fact, Jaune might get genderbent if he doesn't watch himself!)
Though that's just one idea, I cannot confirm that it's what I would for sure do and I'm always happy to take ideas on other possibilities.
Either way, please give me your feedback on The Grimm Prince experiment as a whole and be sure to vote below to let me know what you think I should do next with the RWBY slot.

keep up and finish it for these who love it.

Two chapters a month, actually. But yeah I feel ya. I don't think I'll ever be able to update on a weekly basis, but who knows for sure
Kaiser_Powers
I suppose my only complaint is that it's a twice monthly series, I become pretty detached from it by the time the next chapter is available. I do quite like it though. I'm enjoying both the story and the smut. Edit: Fixed how often it's updated.
SpectralTime
The Arc Family Techniques. It was the RWBY story before this one.

But TAFT stands for The Arc Family Techniques, it was the monthly RWBY fic before Grimm Prince cx

William Taft, 27th president of the United States, stood for antitrust policies and tariff revisions

What does TAFT stand for?
SpectralTime
It is probably the closest vote so far, or at least the closest I remember, so I guess it could still go either way.
Cambrian
Yeah it could probably be wrapped up here, though I have set up other things lol so I can see why you guys wouldn't want it to end now
Cambrian
Glad to hear it!
Cambrian
Heh fair enough.

I guess, playing devils advocate, there’s an argument to be made that Prince Jaune already has a pretty top-tier harem and more characters may not necessarily improve it compared to the risks of character bloat. Again, not my opinion, but I get it.
SpectralTime
I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to more. I liked the original too, but I’m having too good a time to vote for it to end!

I rather we continue ue then get a male OC.
Nicholas Alexander
Oh okay, makes sense
Cambrian
If the majority voted to wrap up TGP, I imagine TAFT Book 2 would be one of the potential options for replacing it in the RWBY slot in the follow up poll
Nicholas Alexander
Is there an option for continuing TAFT? .o.
