Summary: She comes to him in a mortal guise, seemingly fleeing from mere bandits. Except those 'mere bandits' turn out to be incredibly powerful dragon hunters. It's obvious once the dust has settled that she was expecting him to be little more than a distraction, but seeing as he's dealt with them before she could even flee, the gorgeous female dragon decides to make him an offer. Her body in exchange for his continued protection~

“Please, you have to save me! Bandits are after me!”
“Third Party involved now boss, what do we do?!”
“She’s probably already got him ensorcelled, don’t hold back, slay them both and-urk!”
… It all happens extremely fast. One moment he’s sitting by the smoldering remnants of his morning fire, enjoying the last bites of his breakfast. The next, there’s the sound of multiple people crashing through the underbrush, one pair of feet ahead of the others. At first, he’s not going to do anything… not his business, not his fight.
But then the pair of feet hesitate for half a millisecond and then reorient in his direction, racing directly towards him. In a moment, the owner of said feet, a beautiful brunette peasant woman clutching tightly at her shawl, comes exploding out of the forest looking right at him. She begs him to save her, even as he sighs and begins to stand.
Then, her pursuers, the so-called bandits, had come out of the woods from right behind her. In an instant, the so-called peasant woman has run past him. In an instant, the ‘bandits’ have taken in the scene, shouted to one another, and continued their charge, clearly intending on going right through him to get their quarry.
And in an instant… he’s swept his sword through the necks of three of them and impaled the fourth through the chest with his blade. As the leader of the group dies, Martin takes in their appearances, his eyes cataloging their incredibly expensive-looking gear and the equipment they were all wielding.
Behind him, their prey skids to a halt. It was quite obvious, at least to Martin, that she HAD been intending on continuing onward at a full sprint. Indeed, her entreaty for him to help her was clearly meant to be nothing more than an attempt to turn him into a bump in the road for her pursuers. But now… well, things have certainly changed, haven’t they?
“Y-You…”
Letting out a sigh, Martin takes a cloth from his waist, pulling his sword from the group leader’s chest. The last to expire, his mouth opens and closes fruitlessly, the light finally fading from his eyes as he joins his friends in death. Martin turns away from him before the body has even hit the ground, running his cloth up and down his sword and cleaning it with practiced efficiency as he looks to the ‘peasant woman’ who’s life he just saved.
She stares back at him, gobsmacked.
“You just…”
Her disbelief is understandable though, he supposes. He looks like a nobody, out here in the middle of nowhere all alone with a meager campsite and barely any supplies. His only possession worth anything is his sword, which he puts back in its ragged sheath with a sense of finality as he gives the woman a nod.
“Dragon.”
Flushing at that, the brunette huffs a bit, her hands clenching into fists at her sides. But she calms herself a moment later, her curiosity overriding her draconic pride at being so casually addressed.
“Who are you?”
Martin considers how best to answer that for a second… before shaking his head.
“Nobody special.”
That gets a scoff from the increasingly indignant female dragon standing before him, her arms crossing over her substantial chest in narrow-eyed disbelief.
“You just killed this region’s best team of dragon hunters by yourself in a single second. You’re NOT nobody.”
Martin really doesn’t want to talk about his past… so instead he decides to change the subject.
“Why were you running on foot? Why not just fly away?”
His blunt attempt at forcing the attention back on her works like a charm. Dragons LOVE making it all about them, after all. Half-scowling and half-pouting, the brunette pulls up her sleeve to reveal a manacle locked around her wrist.
“They caught me off guard. Locked me in this form. Easier to kill me that way, and then once they’ve slaughtered me as a human, they can remove the manacle and change me back to harvest me for my parts.”
Martin slowly nods at that, staring at the manacle for a long moment. Then, he begins walking towards her.
“I see.”
“Wha- what are you doing?”
She takes a step back, but before she can turn and run, his sword is out again… and the very tip of it snips through the magical manacle in an instant, making the dragoness gawk in surprise as it falls to the floor in two smoldering pieces. In an instant, she’s freed from her imprisoned condition. Martin has to be honest; he expects one of two things to happen. Either she transforms and attacks him, or she transforms and takes flight.
He does not expect what actually happens. The dragoness still transforms, certainly… but not fully. She keeps a largely humanoid shape, even as her brunette locks turn golden to go with the golden dragon horns that sprout from her scalp. Likewise, her eyes turn into golden pools as well, and golden scales creep along her neck and flesh. A long golden tail grows from her lower back, and her hands and feet both become clawed, the latter bursting out of her ragged shoes.
Martin tilts his head to the side as he stares at the half-dragon, half-human appearance that the gorgeous golden dragon has decided to take on. In turn, she tilts HER head to the side as her lips curl into a curious smile, her glowing golden eyes staring at him intently.
“You have saved me, human. You are due a boon.”
“… I’m good.”
He turns and begins gathering his camp up for a departure at that dismissal. Much to the indignant squawk of the dragoness behind him. He figures she might attack him now, but that doesn’t happen. Instead, she hesitates for a moment before calling out.
“T-Then I would hire you! For a very important quest!”
Slowly, Martin turns back to her. He WAS for hire. Mercenary by trade, in fact. And she was… well, made of gold, literally.
“What’s the job and what’s the pay?”
Smiling coyly now, the dragoness saunters over to him, her tail flicking back and forth like a cat’s might as she reaches out and runs a clawed finger down his front.
“Protect me until I can return to my lair. You might have slaughtered the premier dragon hunting group in this region, but they are not the only ones hunting me. Keep me safe from all of my enemies… and in return, I shall shower you with riches. More than that, I shall give you the greatest gift of all… my own body, to do with as you please~”
Ah. So that was why she hadn’t fully transformed. Martin hums for a moment before finally nodding.
“I’ll take the riches. You’ve got yourself a deal.”
Then, he goes back to packing things up. His new employer stands there frozen for a moment, before howling and FINALLY attacking him. Except he can tell that it’s not an actual attack, so he doesn’t run her through with his blade, even as she tackles him to the ground and pins him in place.
“Infuriating human! You WILL fuck me now and you will like it, damn it!”
He could have stopped her, easily. And they both knew that too. Especially when instead, he turns the tables on her immediately and pins HER down under him, his hands grabbing her by her wrists and pushing her arms up on either side of her head. A gasp leaves her ruby red lips and he stares at them for a moment before snorting.
“Fine. I’ll take your body for payment as well.”
He sees the moment she realizes that he provoked her into admitting that she actually wanted this, rather than her simply trying to make it a transaction. She hisses but doesn’t stop him from tearing the rest of the peasant disguise she’d been wearing off of her beautiful body. Those rags really hadn’t done her justice, and Martin runs his hands down to her chest, cupping and then groping her breasts as she moans and thrusts her chest up into his palms.
It's obvious, at least to him, that her libido has been thoroughly awakened by having him kill in her name, even unknowingly. Dragons can be like that at times. Haughty, arrogant, prideful creatures one and all. But push their buttons and you could gain a friend for life. Or… you could gain more than a friend.
Growling lustfully from under him, she wiggles and writhes, her tail coming up from between her legs and dexterously removing his pants. Just as he’s pulling the last of the rags off of her, his cock flops out of its confines and slaps down upon an already wet pussy with an audible, slippery smack. Martin grunts while the dragoness moans, her crotch humping upwards eagerly.
Grabbing hold of her hips to keep her steady, the mercenary by trade shakes his head, trying to not give in to temptation TOO early. He places the tip of his engorged, rapidly hardening prick against her slit and then holds it there, stopping for a moment much to her frustrated whine.
“I don’t even know your name yet.”
His words have their intended effect. The golden dragon under him freezes in place and then colors over, blushing furiously. Announcing themselves, being known and having a lot of notoriety was honestly as important to most dragons as having a large hoard was. The fact that she’d jumped straight from hiring him to fucking him without even introducing herself was a sign of just how down bad she really was, and he could tell she knew he knew that just from the look of embarrassment on her face.
Huffing as haughtily as she can manage while pinned under him with his cock literally pressing against her quim, the golden dragoness glares at him.
“Rejoice, mortal. You have the pleasure of being in the presence of Yldrara the Eternal, Champion of Gold, Lady of Silver, and Duchess of Jewels!”
Yldrara. Martin rolls the name over in his head for a few moments before nodding.
“Pleasure is all yours, Duchess.”
Then, before she can do more than open her mouth in indignation at his lack of respect, Martin thrusts forward. As expected, this cuts the golden dragoness off, leaving her squeaking in a rather undignified manner as he slams the entire length of his cock into her sopping wet cunt. She’s extremely turned on right now, highly aroused, and Martin is confident he knows exactly why.
The smell of blood is heavy in the air, and the bodies of her pursuers are just a dozen yards away. As he fucks her there on the forest floor, pounding her into the ground, her wanton moans fill his ears. His cock is probably fine. His rough treatment of her is expected. Dragons didn’t do soft or slow or loving, after all. But what was REALLY turning Yldrara on, what was really getting her going, was the fact that he’d killed for her.
Her enemies had very nearly had her. They’d been mere feet away from catching and slaughtering her, reducing her to little more than her base components. Her claws and teeth would have been fashioned into weapons, arrowheads and daggers alike, and her scales would have been repurposed into armor. Even her eyes and blood could be used in special alchemical potions.
There was a reason that dragon hunting was such a sought-after profession, despite its dangers. In the wake of the Dragon God’s demise, the mortal races had taken to slaying dragons with an unnatural zeal, spurred on by their own gods to wipe the whole species off of the face of this world before another could possibly ascend to divinity.
Instead of that grisly fate that had awaited her, Yldrara still lived. Because of him. It was no surprise to Martin that she was so sexually excited right now. Nor that she would demand he be the one to take care of her arousal, albeit in a roundabout way as she had.
… Best she not know of the part he played in the Dragon God’s death, really. Best that she never find out his old identity. Besides, that life was behind him now. The rest of the Gods of this world might not be able to take the power they’d granted him back now that he’d trained and trained and assimilated it all, making it his own, but they had certainly disowned him and decried him to their followers one and all.
He wasn’t the World’s Hero anymore. He was just Martin. And Martin had to admit… he’d been getting rather lonely after all this time.
Thrusting into Yldrara, pounding her into the forest floor, he exults in her cries of ecstasy. Technically this was all a transaction, but she wasn’t acting like it. Indeed, she was moaning up a storm and cumming upon his cock time and time again as he fucked her. Her claws rend through his leather armor but cannot do the same to his flesh, leaving behind only white lines across his back as she clings to him for dear life.
Meanwhile, Martin just growls and fucks her all the harder, before finally deciding to lean in and capture those ruby red lips of hers for his own. As he tongues the half-dragoness’ mouth, she freezes up for a moment in consternation… before ultimately giving into the pleasure and answering him with her own tongue.
Together, the two of them dance the horizontal tango for quite a while. So long, in fact, that the sun goes from still rising in the sky to being directly above them, beating down on their backs as he slams into her cunt one final time before finishing inside of her. In response to the seeding, Yldrara yowls and cums as well, climaxing explosively and milking his cock for every last drop.
As he begins to pull back, however, she starts to try and hold him closer… but Martin doesn’t let her, easily overcoming her physical strength with his own and breaking her leg lock with a casualness that gives his new employer pause. But only for a moment before she pouts at him.
“More. If you are to be my mercenary, you must… I must pay you with my body some more.”
Martin scoffs as she barely catches herself and badly covers up her little slip. But he just shakes his head and points off to the West.
“Later. For now, the second, third, and fourth best dragon hunting groups in the region are heading this way from that direction, hot on the first group’s tail. It’s time to go.”
Yldrara’s golden eyes widen at that, and she quickly hops to her feet, nodding rapidly in agreement.
Martin is just glad she’s not too suspicious yet. He hopes that he can continue to obfuscate his past for some time to come… preferably permanently. But for now, he’s a mercenary with an employer to protect and escort to safety. And nothing more.
