Going by what Cenarius said he should have some Dino forms from the loa.

McGrundy

Well golly gee, thanks y'all!

Cambrian

Heh, appreciate the feedback, in hindsight you're right, I should have definitely changed it up. Will try not to keep using the bear form so much in the future, it feels too same-y/vanilla at this point

Cambrian

Yeah everything that's supposed to happen next canonically heavily involved Illidan and Arthas. With them dead, things are going to go a little bit differently heh

Pipeman

So Warcraft 3 basically kicks off with the Burning Legion using the Lich King to overrun the Eastern Continent with undead so they can do a major summoning ritual there without anyone to stop them. Then they kick the lich King to the curb and go to the Western Continent to be owned by Night Elves and the refugees after the Lich King does some betrayal (Which is roughly what happened here as well). The next plotbeat is that Jaina's dad still hates orcs and rules a nation and that Illidan has wacky adventures to try and kill the Lich King while the Lich King tries to become an independent power. Illidan is dead though and he kinda failed anyway, but the Lich King also doesn't have Arthas anymore.

As someone who is entirely unfamiliar with Warcraft lore, could someone please enlighten me as to what's coming up next in the timeline, canonically?

Rognak seemed a bit underpowered here. With so many entity's blessings, he's got to have more "internal" nature power than a bog-standard bear form. A snake form would be an interesting addition and could help weaken Fandral by darting in to bite him and retreating. Instead of Rognak being a bystander once he threw his ax.

Cambrian

lmao

Cambrian

You'd think they'd start to expect it after the fifth time, but they never do :P

TheSinful

Rest in Piss Fandral. The people who'll miss him can be counted on one hand with five fingers left over

T4ndoris

Lmao, Fandral seems awfully talkative and confidant untill he took a NATURE EMPOWERED BATTLE AXE to the chest. That never fail to surprise people, 10/10 would recommend

Cambrian

Every fight Rognak gets in, I think to myself "how can I best utilize axe here?" :P Glad that philosophy is working for you lmao

SylverIron

Wood Axe for the win!

Cambrian

Easier to use? Yes. Learn, no. It's not learned, it's 'bestowed'. And it also comes with a nice helping of madness and enslavement lmao. If you've ever played Fifth Edition D&D, Fandral has essentially multiclassed into a D&D warlock with a Great Old One Patron here. He is beholden to his Master until the end, and if he tried to betray Xavius or even had a moment where he thought his choices might have been mistakes... it wouldn't have mattered. Because he was already the Nightmare Lord's slave.

Hrathen

All I got out of the first part is that to use nature, you must be blessed and have strong bond. Which means nothing to someone like Xavius who can teach others to simply dominate nature, bypassing all the barriers. Clearly more useful and easier to learn... Seeing how the roots were usurped with the utmost ease
