Arkhaan

Incredibly well written but I wish Ragnok didn’t spend so much time apologizing for things he had no culpability in. It’s been a recurring thing of them apologizing to everyone they run into when that really wasn’t warranted

Neon Pipe Tobacco

Wrath of the Lich King is the last expansion where things really make sense. So maybe Cambrian can do some Burning Crusade shenanigans with a couple aspects from Legion(maybe) but those would be the only good sources for story to mine. The rest is bad. Different flavors of bad depending on the expansion but almost all bad.

Belly

Would be funnier if the stroke mellowed out Jainas dad. Or had some odd vision of what would've been due to his actions (shows canon events) And he ends up becoming a doting grandpa to both Rognak and Jainas kids.

SylverIron

Yeah, figured continuing would be a lost cause; especially with Rognak's memories no longer being helpful. But this has been a brilliant story, like Breaking Providence. Hope we get more like them in the future. Not that I don't like the erotica, *I definitely like those.* It's just you seem to have a knack for Plot with Porn stories.

Darkanlan

Would explain the mad titan's behavior. He killed off his siblings because one of them took his balls. Now he's on a rampage looking for them and will stop at nothing until he kills everyone that might have his balls.

Tristan R Mitchell

I honestly have to wonder which Titan is walking around with teeny orc balls on their otherwise planet-sized bodies. Because he had to have swapped with one.

santhinal

huh fair enough then. I honestly did not know that bit... probs just lacked a formal ceremony though given her skills and position.

Cambrian

Nope, as far as I'm aware she is not made an Archmage until World of Warcraft. While there's no exact moment in canon where she's given the title, people's best guess is that she was granted the rank on an honorary basis after reaching out to Dalaran at some point in the years following the Third War. But when she left for Kalimdor, she was not yet an Archmage. If you look back through this story, you'll actually find that I've been quite consistent about that as well... Jaina has not been referred to as an Archmage one single time in this fic, mostly because during my research I could not find any reference to when she got the title. But in Warcraft III and TFT, she's Lady Proudmoore or Jaina.

santhinal

wait what? You sure about that my dude? The other two are fair enough but Jaina not being an Archmage? Cause I am fairly certain she is one by the time she leaves on the Expedition in cannon and thats part of how she convinced people to join up. Might be wrong on that though. I still consider Archdruids much closer to archmages in their role in society though that is purely the NE society you were not really massively clear in this fic on where Orc Druids fit into the society beyond them having some paralells to Shaman. But ya the third point is reason enough to not tell her that point I was considering it more from the angle of making himself out to be more or less equal in status to Jaina (minus the princess factor) so he seemed like a slightly better match but thinking back hes still an Orc.... so ya.

T4ndoris

In case you’re wondering, there’s nothing wrong with Rognak's legs. He just finds it difficult to walk normally with the planet sized balls he has to carry

Cambrian

Jaina: *wipes her brow* close one.

Cambrian

Don't expect a sequel for this fic, because the reasons I don't want to write further down Warcraft's timeline have never changed. That being, if you go into the expansions, the lore becomes a convoluted cookie cutter mess of retcons and plot holes the size of fucking alaska. I'm just not interested in trying to make it all make sense. That said, the bonus chapters should be fun heh. That's where I'll 'explore' some more stuff but with zany porn logic so I don't have to treat it so seriously

Cambrian

I don't consider it a screw up for a few reasons: 1. Jaina isn't an Archmage yet, so the direct comparison wouldn't have worked. 2. Archmage isn't any closer to Archdruid than Archbishop, not really. They form a triangle of sorts where all three are both as far apart from one another as they are similar to one another. 3. Rognak just got done making nice with Katherine. He wasn't going to go around correcting the closest thing he has to a Mother-In-Law right after nominally getting on her good side. Hence 'close enough'.

santhinal

ehhhh Archmage is usually a leadership position actually. Think of all the archmages from cannon

RanmaChaos

Thanks for the great chapter!

Thunder

I don't think he really screwed up here. He outright says that the more one thinks about it, the less of an appropriate comparison it becomes. But, at the same time, this is likely the first time that Katherine has ever seen, let alone spoken to an orc in person. And Rognak just got done convincing her that a lot of what she previously believed about orcs was wrong, and averted a potentially very destructive war in the process. Is it correct? No, not really. But in a way, Rognak kind of is acting as a sort of spiritual leader for the orcs, since there is a certain amount of spiritualism in shamanism and druidism. So for the purposes of this specific conversation? Rognak's basically saying "close enough for now".

TheSinful

Except from Katherine's perspective, he's saying Archdruid like it's a leadership position and an Archmage isn't necessarily a leader whereas an Archbishop always is.

TheSinful

Congratulations Jaina, you did not accidentally a war.

SpiritCrystal

HEY WRITER MAN, WRITE MORE THINGS LIKE THESE!!! WE LIKE THEM A LOT.

SpiritCrystal

I agree with the semantic argument. Don’t think Rognak or Katherine cares, though.

SylverIron

Like Breaking Providence, I hope we get a sequel in the works. And even after all this... ...I still have no clue about WOW's history, ah well.

santhinal

you screwed up in this chapter a bit my dude. Archdruid is more of an equivelant to archMAGE not archbishop. aka Rognak is basically of equal status to Jaina. Remember its the Priestesses of Elune that control the spirituality of the Night Elves the Druids instead take on much the same role as mages with perhaps being a bit less involved in research and a bit more involved in taking care of nature stuff. Otherwise the chapter is great! disapointed its ending so soon though. Hopefully you take up more fics like this in the future with less porn and more actual good writing.

CJ Cook

Darling gonna have a 2nd stroke when Katherine comes back with the news of peace.
