Especially since the would-be blackmailer clearly doesn't know about the supernatural and is simply trying to use mundane observations against him. He sort of just plans to ignore it... right up until the girl trying to blackmail him also inadvertently summons him for a Devil Contract. In the end, all is well that ends well...
