All that you have done is for the sake of humans, and while I did not always understand your point of view at first, I understand now.”
His mouth is agape at this point as Salem bears her soul to him. He didn’t… well, he wasn’t expecting all of that. Following up with her one part of the one-two emotional gut punch, Summer leans in again.
“The remaining Arcs are still your family, Jaune. And take it from a mother who knows… your mother deserves to know that her baby boy is still alive.”

“You don’t have to tell her about your circumstances immediately, Jaune. I would ease her and your sisters into it, rather than coming before them in all of your… natural glory. But even still, they’ve lived without their brother for quite some time now.”
For a long moment, Jaune doesn’t know what to say. He stares at Salem and Summer, a bit in awe of the united front they’re putting on. Here was a woman who had lost her eyes and been tortured for months before he’d come along… effectively siding with the woman who had done the torturing.
“… Okay. Alright… we’ll… go see them. But first…”
Jaune lets out a growl and spins himself and Salem over, causing Summer to yelp as she’s knocked back. The end result is Summer on her side and Salem on her back, with Jaune on top of the Grimm Queen, still buried inside of her as he growls at them both.
“You two didn’t think there wouldn’t be consequences for this conspiring against me, did you? I’m going to have to punish you both for going behind my back like this.”

His mother stands there, a few years older than the last time he saw her but otherwise the same. Her eyes are wide as she stares at him in disbelief, the silence deafening.
He wishes he could say something like he’d come home as soon as he could, but that would be a lie. And he’s already going to be telling some lies for some time to come anyways, so he figures he should try to start with the truth.
“Mom… I’m sorry I didn’t come home sooner. I-!”

A perfect ending. Truly awesome work. It doesn't *need* anything else, though I certainly wouldn't mind an epilogue or two to show his re-integration with his family or other fun scenes. It's been an awesome ride, thanks for writing it.

A very enjoyable story. I'm not sure I can agree with the people clamoring for a sequel, despite being a huge fan of Jaune fics in general and this one in particular. Still, I could DEFINITELY see one or a few weekly poll epilogues tacked on in the future. An excellent story Cambrian, truth be told this baby was the reason I subscribed in the first place!

Honestly Jaune going back home is the perfect cherry on top to complete this ending. He saved the world from the Grimm, ended the brewing global warming, conquered the world in secret, built a harem of the best ladies in Remnant (with potential for more in the future) and wrapped the whole thing up by reuniting with his family. Of course at some point he will have to tell his family that "little" Jaune is now the Shadow Emperor of Remnant with his own Royal Harem that includes his Empress and the likes of Glynda Goodwitch, all the Schnee ladies, The Nikos ladies and the acting leadership of Menagerie.
