It would be better if Ivy agreed. It would be better if Ivy was on board. Harley knew she was perhaps going a bit too far. She was trying to have her cake and eat it too here. But what was the fucking point of having cake in the first place if you couldn’t fucking eat it?!

While I picked option #1, I think a combo of #1 & #2 would fit the situation the best...Ivy isn't going to be down for a threesome right now, but between having time to see how Harley has improved and to hash things out re: their relationship? I can see Ivy's resolve weaken...especially if becomes known to her that Lucien was the one to fix Barbara's paralysis and there isn't any personality changes, along with other good works without obvious requests for reward. I'm all for the smut option but I prefer that characters actually remain in character. Not becoming mere puppets to the plot for the sake of smut. Her agreeing at this point I think is unlike her. I believe it would take more convincing before she actually agrees. And I don't mean convincing as in just a few words but rather convincing her as in a several days long process. At this point she probably feels hurt by Harley's actions. Going to Lucien behind Ivy's back and then cheating on Ivy with him. Anger is occupying most of her mind right now. The possibility of being able to conceive, while enticing probably is not enough to derail her mind from that anger. She and Harley need to work some things out between them first and then Ivy might be convinced to seek Lucien's help.

All he needs to do is figure out which one of them wants to carry the kid, then be touching them both at the same time. It has to be number one. For as much as Harley and jokers relationship is toxic, Harley and ivy’s isn’t exactly the picture of healthy. Ivy is way too forgiving of Harley, and pretty much always willing to give her ideas a chance, no matter how weird they are. (E.g. the attempted infiltration a few chapters ago).
