The high-heeled shoes echoed against the shiny Italian marble tiles, their sounds reverberating through the vast corridor. He watched as Gabrielle bounced in the arms of the two-year-old girl, Lane, eliciting joyful giggles from the little one. "Aunt
Gabrielle missed her sweet girl," Gabrielle exclaimed, embracing Lane tightly. The girl returned the hug, wrapping her tiny arms around Gabrielle's neck, as they stood amidst the resounding echoes of the corridor.
"I love you," Lane declared, planting a kiss on Gabrielle's cheek. Blonde strands of her hair cascaded down her cheeks, and her ponytail bobbed atop her head.
Gabrielle responded, returning the cheek kiss to Lane before glancing at me. "Isn't she the sweetest?" she asked, mustering a slightly awkward smile toward Lane. "Yes," I replied, managing a grin, "she's truly adorable."
Clack. Clack. Clack.
The noisy shoes reverberated against the tiles, approaching as Harry impatiently waited to catch a glimpse of the attractive young MILF. The last time he had seen her, she hadn't yet earned this esteemed title. In fact, the last encounter had taken place two years ago, when she was the bride at her wedding.
Gabrielle scooped Lane up into her arms and turned the girl around. "This is my boyfriend, Harry," she announced. "Can you say 'Harry'?"
Lane pointed at him with her little finger. "Harry," she repeated.
He smiled, unsure of how to react. Interacting with children was an even greater challenge for him than interacting with beautiful women, and that was quite an achievement. "That's great, Lane," he replied, treating her like any other adult.
Gabrielle rolled her eyes. "You need to relax. Hold her." She handed Lane to him, but the girl vigorously shook her head and clung tightly to her aunt.
"No," Lane assured, gripping Gabrielle's neck tightly. "She has some sixth sense, I swear," he observed. "Or maybe she just doesn't like me.
"That's nonsense." Gabrielle leaned in and planted a full kiss on Harry's lips. "She'll love you just as much as I do."
"You two will be scaring my daughter," Daphne announced, entering the kitchen.
The twenty-something-year-old mother was dressed in an elegant black cocktail dress, black stockings, and shiny black high-heeled shoes. Her flawless milky-white skin radiated beauty. Daphne's ample bosom snugly fit into her low-cut dress, forming an impressive neckline. Her hips flared, creating heart-shaped round buttocks, while her slender waist completed her perfectly defined hourglass figure. She had styled her shiny blonde hair into an intricate updo high on her head, and her intensely red lips contrasted with her fair complexion.
Daphne looked at Gabrielle with chilly blue eyes and seemed to force a smile. "Thanks for arriving so quickly. I swear, if Sophia has another sudden family emergency, I'll let her go."
He grimaced. She hadn't changed. Fiery yet icy. Having said that, Harry would give up his wand for twenty-four uninterrupted hours with her. She could nonsensically fuck him all night if she wanted to.
"Sophia can't help it that her aunt slipped in the shower," Gabrielle retorted. "Besides, I love spending time with my niece." She kissed Lane on the cheek and hugged her tightly. "You really should call me more often."
"Last time I asked, you couldn't because of a Quidditch player," Daphne laughed, before finally turning her gaze toward Harry. "At least you've improved in that department. Hi, Harry." Daphne directed a smile his way, the first one she had for him.
Daphne and Fleur were strikingly similar to each other, yet their personalities couldn't be more different. Not to mention that Fleur had a golden complexion, probably because Daphne tried to avoid sunlight like a vampire.
"Thanks, Daphne." He nodded appreciatively. "I had to twist her arm, but she finally agreed to meet me."
Daphne's smile dimmed as she turned back to Gabrielle, and he couldn't help but admire her tight neckline, one that could probably bounce a quarter off of. "I'm not sure when we'll be home," Daphne said. "These investors like to drink, so it might take a while. Call or send a text if you run into something you can't handle."
"We'll manage," Gabrielle reassured. "Take as much time as you need with them. Harry and I will take good care of her."
Gabrielle had long blonde hair tied up in a tight ponytail. She was wearing a pink V-neck shirt, black yoga pants, and fitted open-toe sandals. Her lips glistened with strawberry gloss, and her pale blue eyes were appropriately made up. The way Lane clung to Gabrielle's body stretched her shirt taut against her lace bra, and Harry couldn't wait to later discover the delectable indentation her nipple had made in the fabric. She was incredibly stunning, and every time he looked at her, he was impressed.
And it still amazed him that Gabrielle openly admitted to being his girlfriend and declared her love for him. It was like stepping into an alternate reality through a spacetime tunnel. If this was the Mandela Effect in action, he had no desire to return to his own timeline.
"Are you ready?" a withered, aging voice chirped from behind us.
Harry Potter and the others turned together to find Bob Longbottom, Daphne's 66-year-old husband, standing at the second entrance to the kitchen.
"Hi, Bobby," Gabrielle greeted, offering the old man a sweet smile.
Bob Longbottom stood on the other side of the room, slightly hunched over, a testament to his aging. His hair was silver-white, and deep wrinkles marked his face, indicating the passing years. Daphne was the epitome of a trophy wife, and Harry still found it hard to believe that Bob had agreed to marry her, let alone have a child with her.
"Hello, Mr. Longbottom," Harry said, crossing the room and extending his hand. "I'm not sure if you remember me. I'm..."
"Harry Potter," Bob interrupted, shaking Harry's hand with a smile. "I remember you. Pre-med, right?"
"That's correct."
"Harry's going to be a healer," Gabrielle added. "Noble profession," Bob remarked. "I hope you're keeping up with your grades."
Harry effortlessly sailed through his years of study, consistently earning top marks. "Yes, sir," Harry replied. "I'll be taking my entrance exams next summer."
"Good for you," Bob acknowledged. "But you can drop the 'Mr.' and 'sir' stuff. I'm Bob." He chuckled, and his eyes gleamed.
He appeared courteous and grandfatherly. How did a woman as icy as Daphne end up with this man? Well, Harry knew how, but it was still unsettling. Images of wrinkled Bob squeezing between Daphne's creamy thighs haunted his thoughts, sending a shiver down his spine. He quickly regained composure, putting on an impressive smile. "Right... Bob." He moved aside next to Gabrielle, placing a hand on her back, grounding himself in reality.
Shortly after, Bob and Daphne left, leaving Gabrielle and Harry alone with Lane. They took Lane to her playroom, a place filled with all sorts of toys. Gabrielle sat on the floor with Lane on her lap, smiling at her niece, while Harry stretched out on the floor beside them.
"What's the deal with Daphne and Bob?" Harry asked. "Do they... you know... do it?"
Gabrielle gave him a concerned smile and grimaced. "Ew... gross. What's wrong with you?"
"Don't tell me it didn't cross your mind. After all, they have Lane, right?"
"She had Lane through artificial insemination," Gabrielle explained.
Harry furrowed his brow. "Where's the fun in that?"
"He's sixty-six years old," Gabrielle replied. "He's not as randy as you are."
Harry shrugged. "When we have kids, I'd prefer to do it the old-fashioned way." He leaned back, resting his head on Gabrielle's lap and gazed at her firm breasts straining beneath the pink shirt.
Harry Potter stroked Gabrielle's hair and looked at her with a smile. "Let's hope our kids inherit your brain."
"And your good looks," Harry added. "Damn, I hope they get your whole package. Brains, beauty, personality. You're priceless, love."
Gabrielle leaned down and kissed Harry. "You're just trying to get into my pants."
"Does it work?"
Her jaw dropped, but she grinned wickedly. "I won't have sex with you when our niece is at home."
"Our niece?" Harry asked, surprised.
"Yeah," Gabrielle confirmed. "Might as well get used to being Uncle to Lane." She ran her fingers through Harry's hair, leaned down, and gently kissed his lips. "I won't let you go."
It was hard not to hide the surprise when, after years at Hogwarts, he learned that the Greengrass sisters were related to the Delacours.
Gabrielle's knees were soft and warm under Harry's head, and her delicate touch made him feel both aroused and relaxed. He let out a deep, contented sigh. "You're going to be an amazing mom."
"And you'll be an equally wonderful dad," she said. Lane approached them, holding a stuffed doll in her arms. She stood over Harry and pointed at his forehead. "Harry."
"Exactly, Laney," a thrilled Gabrielle said. "I love Harry."
Lane furrowed her brow and shook her head. "No." She leaned down, a line of drool stretching from her mouth before landing right on Harry's eye.
"Alright." Harry closed his eyes and winced, while Gabrielle giggled and picked Lane up in her arms. "Isn't she the cutest?" Gabrielle kissed her niece on the cheek, and Lane chuckled, wrapping her arms tightly around Gabrielle's neck.
They spent the next hour having dinner with Lane before Gabrielle bathed her niece and put her to bed. Before she returned, Harry had found a comfortable spot on the couch, half-watching a nature documentary on TV and scrolling through his phone. Gabrielle circled around the couch and slid in beside Harry. "She fell asleep quickly," she said contentedly.
"I was wondering if you fell asleep with her," Harry remarked.
Gabrielle yawned, covering her mouth. "No, but I'm not far behind."
Harry sat up straight and pulled her closer. With Lane asleep, he had intended to make a move, but it seemed that taking care of a toddler had drained all of Gabrielle's energy. "Stretch out and let me give you a foot massage," he suggested.
Gabrielle looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "Are you offering to give me a foot massage?"
"Unless you don't want one," Harry replied.
She smiled warmly, then pulled him in for a long, tender kiss. "Really?"
"Yes. Now do as I say, woman."
Gabrielle chuckled and stretched out, placing her delicate feet on Harry's lap. Her small toes were adorned with red polish, and her skin was smooth and flawless. Harry used his thumbs to gently massage along the arch of her feet, then traced his fingers over her toes.
"It feels amazing," Gabrielle sighed with contentment, and two minutes later, she was asleep.
Harry covered Gabrielle with a blanket and stayed awake, listening for any sounds coming from the nearby magical nanny monitor transmitting sounds from the occupied two-year-old's room. For the next two hours, he switched between baseball games and the Discovery Channel. Around midnight, the back door creaked, and muffled voices could be heard from the kitchen.
Daphne laughed, her words indistinguishable.
"You're drunk," Bob muttered, his tone annoyed. "I'm going to bed. Don't wake me up." His footsteps echoed against the marble tiles before fading away down the long, winding stairs.
Something clattered in the kitchen, followed by a stool toppling over and hitting the floor. Strangely, Gabrielle slept through it all.
Harry Potter began to rouse Gabrielle as Daphne appeared behind the couch, swaying slightly on her feet.
She raised a finger to her lips. "Shh." Daphne giggled softly and hiccupped. "Don't wake Gabrielle."
